For the bloopers, wouldn't audio eraser help with that? Just copy the recording file to the phone, erase background noise and then put it back to the computer to finish the editing

Great video as always, using my talk-to-text on my pixel 8 Pro. Looking forward to using it more! I would also say that the feature drops or the upgrades that are coming later make a bit of excitement even after the new phone euphoria wears off

The question is: Are these exclusive features/gimmicks worth the premium price when the hardware is usually haunted with bugs and glitches every single time a new google phone comes out? Battery time for me is a killer though, reason why I am looking at the Nothing 2 instead... I miss the Pixel 1 vibe and excitement.

I am using a Iphone 13 pro at the moment. To be honest i am thinking about switching to Google Pixel 8 Pro. But i am not really sure if i should. Any suggestions?

Just got one month ago for $499 the 256 GB version, absolutely love it. Had a bug where wifi calling wasnt working for 2 weeks. But its fixed now.

I agree with the usefulness of some features talk, but I APPRECIATE a phone company trying to implement new things and give us more. I have zero complaints about that.

IMHO, SoT metrics should be removed from reviewers reviews. With it being so subjective alot of people always look for battery life when buying a phone and it could move people away from products that could be completely amazing them

Most of these reviews focus so heavily on camera performance - can I please instead rant about other practical issues?

The camera bump on my pixel 8 pro prevents the phone from charging on my wireless charging pad in my car. This sucks because I have wireless android auto. My previous phone, an LG V60 ThinQ was great because I could get in the car and toss my phone on the charging pad and everything just worked and it charged.

Now I have to plug the pixel 8 pro in or it'll run the battery down and the adaptive charging won't charge it because it will only charge during certain hours of the day.

Ugh ugh ugh.

Enjoyed the history lesson and real world battery life screenshots. That battery life is horrendous. I have a s22+ and its chipset isnt the best. When I record over an hour of basketball sessions in 4k60 I only lose 20-30%.

The stuttering and artifacting that happen during recording on the pixel 8 pro is a strong deal breaker.

Why would we check our temperature more?

I am a new iPhone user, with the 14 Pro Max since July, and I will be trading it in today in order to get the Pixel 8 Pro. The first month on iPhone wasn't so bad, but every day use is pretty awful after switching from Android.

Why did you not film with the Pixel 8 Pro and show how the magic audio eraser works in the real world when a plane flies overhead or scooters ride by. Just a thought. Isn't that what you tech reviewers want when reviewing a phone outdoors when interruptions occur and now you have a phone that can fix your frustrations yet gripe about price and battery.

My pixel 8 pro tends to underexpose dark areas of a photo and over expose the bright areas. Wondering if I should exchange it? Anyone else having these issues?
