Does the stove top get warm?

I have this stove I really like it but it is a pain in the ass to turn on. The control is just not easy to get to, move it to the top back or add a remote and it would be great.

Where is the knob I'm supposed to use to choose natural gas instead of propane, please?

I’ve had my stove several years it works great. I use for ambience and if electricity goes out. I hate the controls. You have to crawl in the floor to see what number heat is on.

I've had this for about 4 years and it's the only reason I look forward to winter!😂It keeps my 1200 square ft house (rowhome) really comfortable and warm on the 2-3 setting. My gas bill is about $230 a month compared to electric baseboard heat that was about $400 a month. Love this thing❤
