Another coupon that works well is 495COMS, if you want more than one domain you can get up to 3 at the price of $4.95 each, the price of 3 will be cheaper than using the .99 domain coupon and then the price of $9.99 for each additional.

If it doesn't work, it's because (usually & what godaddy explained to me) you have already registered a maximum of 3 or 4 domains under your account previously at .99 cents. There is a limit to their generosity. You can try Register.com, they have a special for .50 cents, but they have crappy reviews. I have a few domains with them, but then regular price after the first year jumps to 30 something dollars per year! So...
