Marvellous vid 😁
ОтветитьAmazing!!!. For this Softbox, did you have any grid modifiers on it?
ОтветитьFantastic tutorial! Thanks so much for sharing this!
ОтветитьLove this! Thank you!
Ответитьhow come you can take a shot with just one hand holding the camera? What was the speed at?
ОтветитьNew photographer here! Thanks for the video. Very informative. What is the material of your backdrop? I noticed that it is not getting wrinkled. Thanks!
ОтветитьSorry I'm a little confused. So are you saying you need both a softbox AND an external flash to do this? I don't have a flash but do have softboxes.
ОтветитьI have a practice session Sunday with a friends dog. Thank you for the tips
ОтветитьYou are amazing! Thank you for these videos.
ОтветитьI may have missed it but what was your shutter speed and iso?
ОтветитьWhat brand/type of light you're using?
ОтветитьWell. What about the dogs who are not gonna sit n stay? How do you photograph those? You got someone holding them? Leash? Tie out? There is no way a dog will just sit n stay in one spot unless super trained :)
ОтветитьThank you for the video. It was very helpful and you are great with the dog! I had one questions: I see that you had the continuous light (overhead butterfly light), but are you also using an off camera strobe? I saw the flash and thought I may be missing something. Thank you in advance for responding! Love your work!
ОтветитьWhere do I find the roller that holds the light?
ОтветитьWhat type/brand camera are you using?
ОтветитьHi, thank you for your tutorial. I'm a photography student and we're doing studio shoots and i wasn't too interested until studio pet photography came to mind😁😺👍
ОтветитьWould it work if you was to put a kicker light to one side with the key light overhead? Or to put a 2nd on the background to get that separation? Learning so much from your videos! Thank you keep up the great work
ОтветитьI'm getting into photography. I want to get into full body pet and people portraits.
I was wondering if you have some cameras suggestions? I hear you want full frame camera? If so any
suggestions? What's the most mega pixels and sensor for best image quality
I'm assuming when you got a totally black image, you must have been on like F10 and 1/200 and ISO 100 or something like that? Sorry if I missed what your final settings were. In a room like yours, you would probably see some images down to 1/80, F2, ISO 16k or whatever. Are we trying to "force" the image to be black, or do you just pick the settings you really want and hope it ends up black?
ОтветитьAwesome video! I am venturing into pet photography .. my question is: how were you adjusting the light during the photo shoot- with the settings on the camera or the physical light from the camera?
ОтветитьJust came across your channel. Loving the vibe and energy 👍🏻 can you tell us what that bracket is on the stand in the video? Thanks and keep up the great work.
ОтветитьHI Jess, can u see somewhere at your platform/YT how you postprocess your pics. For example fromt his session? is is available at your paid membership?
Ответитьenjoyed a lot your video again, a very moody way of learning! 🎉
ОтветитьThank you so much for all your videos, just started delving into flash, so these videos are great!
ОтветитьThank you so much for the tutorial! I see you are using a mirroless camera, how do you cope with the slow AF when using small apertures (f8, f16) and low isos?
ОтветитьYou have a fantastic voice to catch her attention but I'm afraid I can't create that high pitch voice as you do in the video...hahaha
ОтветитьLiterally laughed out loud when the dog entered the scene. Never ever seen a dog shooting and totally didn't expect this after such a calm introduction about precise and dedicated placement and everything 🤣
ОтветитьHi, fantastic video. Just a quick question. Where did you get the backdrops from and how to do overcome damage from the dogs either tears or dirt etc... I know if it happens you can just cut it but as you need the floor layer could be costly keep replacing the roll. Thanks 😊
ОтветитьThank you for the amazing tutoring! I wonder if dogs are okay with flash lights?
ОтветитьThank you for making this great studio lighting tutorial. However, is there anyway to avoid harsh shadow cast on the paper background (usually at the bottom) when we take full body shots of a dog?
ОтветитьYou have a tutorial for everything, thank you for all you do
ОтветитьI could not find your desensitization video. Could you link it in the comments? The link in the video took me to a different video. Thanks!
ОтветитьBest tutorial I have watched on a one light set up. Thank you so much for the simplification.
ОтветитьCan't believe I missed this tutorial! Ready to experiment 👍😁
ОтветитьI just looove her enthusiasm!! And Dave was very pawfessional :) Thanks again for a fun tutorial!!!
ОтветитьThis was uploaded not so long ago. Congratulations on your new space.
ОтветитьAmazing how you hold the camera so steady without a tripod and view your shot without laying physically flat on the ground. They are heavy and it's not easy to do. Another fab video thank you. Beanie such a good girl 💗
ОтветитьI'm so glad I'm not the only one who makes those high pitched noises! You got my dog's attention! ;)
ОтветитьAs always, thank you so much Jess! I thought I accidentally had the speed of the video increased when I saw Beanie eating her treats:p Great tutorial.
ОтветитьBryt's so big! Love these images. Thanks for another very cool tutorial. <3
ОтветитьLove all the tips and the bit of comedy 😂 Thankyou as always🥰♥️
ОтветитьGreat tutorial, I've even made a shopping list for the extras I need to get. Also as I was looking up what breed Bryt is you said it at the same time.
ОтветитьFantastic tutorial once again. Have you covered in a previous tutorial about having it dark then add light? Never knew this and will be trying this today! Thank you once again.
ОтветитьThank you for the good information.
By the way, What kind of equipment are you using? In particular, what is the brand of the light stand?
Great video! I also photograph pets. I love Beanie’s natural tail! I had a Cocker Spaniel as well, but her tail was docked before I got her. Beanie was super well behaved and I can tell she loves her training! If I have a “crazy” dog, I use a show lead to help place them. It’s easier to edit out than a full leash.
ОтветитьCan I use my strobe with umbrella reflector?
I guess not because it doesn’t shoot straight down.
XD love how Beanie cocks her head to the side, probably thinking: "what on earth is this squeeky thing?"
ОтветитьThis is a great tutorial! What I love about it, is that I also have a rather tight studio set up in my living room, and I always felt a bit "poor" about it. To see Jess do the same - even if for the last time - made me feel a lot better! Cute Beanie Performance. Jess, would it be possible to also link the photo paper background roll in the Item list? Brand and Size. Thanks you!
ОтветитьThis is great. I have the same light stand but want get an extendible arm. Also what size modifier would to you recommend when you say large?
