No, not a cult following. Us who read the books from books of magic, dark justice league, the sandman, and hellblazer loved this movie as it was pretty close to what we wanted. Likely why the general public did not flock to it.

Constantine was one of the best comic book movie. Partly because it looks at los angeles as I see it in my youth. I know so many places it was filmed, and how scary Los Angeles can get.
THis is the same with Blade Runner. And yes, the constant rain, is how I sometime feel of Los Angeles. Look at this month. February during EL Nino feel like a lifetime of rain.
I think both would look at Los Angeles Downtown at night. Areas where in day is filled with people, but when looked at , at night, it is so lonely and out of place and no, they should not connect Constantine with other comic book characters. Following the rules of other comic book character will restrict the story and ruin the feel. It should be like Batman movies.

I'm actually excited about a movie. I forgot what that felt like.

They should continue this movie, Constantine is a treasure

If they keep Alan Moores core for the character it will work but they were already somewhat off target last time and I imagine that will only worsen. In the current comics they turned him gay (big surprise yeah?) whereas he was originally based on Grant Morrison who is famous for being a something of a ladies man.

Bring back Matt Ryan! The guy nailed it! And I'm not saying Keanu is bad or should be got rid of either...multiverse stories are all the rage in Hollyweird so with the right writer they could really do something with it! What yall think?

All they do is make everything darker and more violent. It doesn’t need to be. Constantine was great and plenty dark. Just do better. Humanity has enough dark right now. They sort of ruined John Wick by constantly getting darker and more violent. We want great writing and character development, not just killing for 2 hours.

While Keanu's portrayal of Constantine is in no way accurate. I did love this movie. I'm a huge fan of the Hellblazer comic series, and Constantine is such an amazing and complex character. I wish he was utilized more in the DC universe.

I will only watch constantinople if kiona reeves Reprises his role has Constantine. I don't think anybody can do it any better. He is a very, very good actor and I'm excited to see the film as long as he is in it.❤

For me, the first Constantine movie wasn't Only about Keanu Reeves as John Constantine or its from DC comics and all. It was actually the Unique Horror elements that got me into it and i have always known Constantine as one of the great horror movie of all-time which I've watched countless times. Though I'm not sure anymore about the sequel happening ever. So I'm happy with the first one. Amazing horror movie.

As the John Wick franchise is grinding down, I’m looking forward to reigniting a Constantine franchise. Hopefully, it will be at least as good as the original. The R rating is a step in the right direction.

The poster for this "alleged" movie has Constantine with a smoke in his mouth. That does not track with the very end of the first movie where he quit and popped a stick of gum.

Constantine is Keanu's best film, due to health reason's I've not been to the cinema post Covid, but I would go back to see this.

Instead of Keanu Reeves, why not use that other actor from the live action tv series Constantine. Just a thought.
