Well hello there. We meet again 😂

The timing of AL12's release would have implied a 'how to uninstall Bitwig' tutorial, but that's just a bad joke, please ignore.

I use both Bitwig 5.1.x Studio and I've been beta testing Live 12 since last September. I gotta say that they each have their unique strengths. I'd like to see the Live 12 scale awareness stuff in Bitwig. And I have a long list of things that I love about Bitwig that I don't see in Ableton Live 12 - Bitwig's Grid, their context sensitive browser, modulators, basic free packs and effects, better third party plugin integration with u-He and others, the mixer which can show effects per channel, more comprehensive audio editing in session view, side-by-side session and arrangement view, and many other little things.

My long journey ended last September! I’m, with 3 years hard learning, new to work with DAW. But I play piano for more than 10 years. As a Mac user I used logic for more than a year. Then using studio 1. both great daws - but really conventional concepts. Then I landed at planet Bitwig and falling in love with all the modulations, clever concepts w channels and groups, easy routing. Dankeschön aus Köln nach Berlin.

I wanted to move from ableton to bitwig but not being able to zoom out the whole gui and have more space is what made me upgrade to Ableton 12. I like all the features etc but I can't stand how cluttered it looks/feels

I just found your software and never thought I would find something better than Ableton but this blows it away! Thank you 🫡

I swear, bitwig is in its journey to become one of, if not, THE best daw there is.

All we need now is more instruments and a sequencer update then this will be THE best daw.

Hey there Bitwig unless there’s a feature like this already it would be great to have a drop down menu within the piano roll which has loads of different chords to choose from which once selected changes the midi notes to that chord. For people like me who doesn’t know much about chords it would be a great feature to have in Bitwig and would help with workflow… please do something like that in a future update.

Hello there. I am seriously thinking about switching to Bitwig. Does Bitwig have an IOS app like Ableton Note? If not, can you import Note files to Bitwig?

Okay. First of all I have to say I like DAWs no matter who built them. I have no bias for any of them and what I say is purely based on experience on FL, Cubase, Cakewalk by bandlab, Studio One and Ableton Live.
Bitwig is still has a lot to do before call itself the future daw. Workflow is not fluid, getting fast previews without clicking many times and make looping regions and clips is not possible. Transport controls are like old Daws stuck in the 80s, Piano Roll is inferior to any DAW I checked except Ableton Live 11.5, and many other things but the most strange thing is :

This year I used my Bitwig subscription money towards finally buying Renoise. I’ll renew my Bitwig subscription once the new version comes out.

bit wig never asked you for anything, add linear phase in your filters, i can't use multband fx 3 on master man, it ruins all my sound, on eq+ tbem, please consider adding, it's us

PLEASE don't give up Bitwig!!! 🙏🏽 I'm just getting into Bitwig and I really want to use this as long as I live. The complexity that this allows excites me just to think about! Please show everyone why this is better than other daws! Please maybe look at the "big guys" and their marketing and content to design content for the channel! It can't hurt! So far I really LOVE that there is an option to allow for a (3 Screen Layout)! I use 3 monitors and it's GENIUS! So far I've tried FL Studio, Cubase, Nuendo and Ableton. I'm not an expert in any daw yet but I haven't seen a setting in these other daws for this option! I'm routing for you!!!🌟
