I have Windows 8.1 and it didn't work for me as Windows updates just stay at 0% and never download. I have tried everything I can, troubleshooting, command prompt, trying to let it restart and update, checked for errors, nothing seems to work and I keep getting the error message. It's been two weeks and Its been absolutely exhausting. I just want this fixed

well the less you know because Microsoft programmers are not as smart as you think they are which is why things like this happen to fix this issue they did not program around this issue it's like say if you install windows on the pc using the internet with the wired connection will not work because windows does not have a driver for the either net card on the main board why because the Microsoft programmers are watching people watch porn to much and not writing good code and the Microsoft programmer told me you won't believe me if I say anything about it🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

8/26/2024 Can confirm Microsoft is still putting out crap updates...

What the hell is wrong with these people that they make a product that will not update. Even worse, they refuse to allow anyone to download any app from the Window's store unless the user is current on updates. What a bunch of assholes.

Cletus, I believe mine has something to do with the current installed Windows Update policy. How do get in there, see what the current policy is, and change it to allow updates?

Unfortunately for me none of the stuff you suggested to do worked for me.I went through all your videos on it and my windows 10 still won't update.I can't even reset my pc.Neither version of that worked.I just keep getting the error code (0x800f0805) and i have downloads delayed until the end of February.Hopefully an update will come out and fix it but i'm not holding my breath at this point.

Nope. Disabling items that I don't recognise will cause more problems. Not useful for me.

Last time I couldn't update Windows it was because my cooler wasn't good enough for my CPU.
