Man I went through the portal had to run and get some food tryed to go back to it cuz my boat was on the other side with the big alien gun and got lost and couldn’t find it this video helped 100% I was lost lmao

Haha, I had accidentally found the floating island before I found one with the alien structure in it, I tried to find the alien structure one again (also thanks I didn't know there were two purple keys) but I went too far and this giant serpant attacked my seamoth

Thank you! I have the Xbox version of this game and can verify there is no unmoving cloud. I watched several other videos before coming across this one that shows the alternate route. I was getting so frustrated and this helped immensely! ^_^

Both Islands can be easily spotted from any distance, they have unnatural clouds masking them. So basically swim toward the each cloud and you find them. Also, if you pick up your base builder tool and select ANY structure to build, you can see both islands through that structure. For example, you can just pick a tube and swing it around, until you see a weird shape on a horizon (through tube). That's the island (either one).
