I'm a musician and I support Trump vigorously, but I don't support division regardless of any label that you can put on a person. Tonight I turned in my voter registration and just by happenstance I was driving home and there was a huge trump parade with lots of flags and signs, and on the other side of this parade were protesters all screaming that they hate the other side and they want them to go fornicate themselves, I ended up playing an unofficial concert in a square downtown after the event had ended and everyone was so caught up in hating each other that no one except an odd 20 or 25 people out of a thousand was able to set down their differences and enjoy a moment of unity, if they weren't still yelling at the remaining from supporters, they were packing up their shit and going home. regardless if I was playing there or not, I haven't shed more than a tear for anything in years, but the realization of how separated we are as a country almost brought me to a hysterical amount of Tears, I am a huge Patriot and as much as I disagree with the left I don't want to see us hating each other for our opinions, we should have a reasonable exchange of ideas instead of a shouting match. We are so caught up in what makes us different I think most of us have forgotten what makes us the same. So anyways this song immediately came to mind while I was packing up my sound system. "I hate the thought of you hating me too" I hope that sometime in the very close future we are able to reunify again as a country, I don't care about the difference of opinions I just want us all to be friends again, or honestly I'll even settle for equals now, just not enemies.

This song just keeps getting more and more relevant all the time!!!
