To anybody who is watching this; this is an outdated video, but still has some usefulness. I would advise you to do what he says immediately when you hit 60, and you will end up with a higher gs than him immediately because of the changes. Still, great place to start. Just get artifact equipment, draconic templar or aow, and an ioun stone of some sort asap after doing what he says. Don't get a cat anymore, and vorpal is also much better than lightning now.

k i watched this video it is geared more dps, so i was wondering if i wanted 2 tank adds, will this help cause holding aggro on gwf is really bad, im a iron vangaurd sentinel with 15.2k gs, and i cant hold aggro tht well.

Now, please accept some constructive criticism here: You have a low Gear Score in my opinion, since I myself have near 14k.  Besides you keep talking about PvP, yet your guide's title says PvE.  As well, you're making the assumption that we care about your gear.  Stats is should be the focus, but looking at your GS, I believe you may be misinformed.

get some astrals to trade them for zen coins, in zen shop you can get this enchantment.

I've been tinkering with the GWF. I went a different route. I made a Halfling for the Deflection. Then I went Sentinel Build, gave her Defense and Deflection, with 20/20/20 stats. It takes 4 people constantly attacking me to kill me, and I hit like a truck with that 90% crit severity.

I would use the PvP gear. Then aim for the Avatar set. PvP set you use all those base stats. Thats just my opinion others will say different

Hey I need some advice... I'm a level 60 GWF but right now I'm using the heroic duelist helm and armor, and the berserker's greaves and bracers just for the recovery and + 450 crit. What's your opinion on this?

Kinda weird seeing as the GWF and GF "should" be the strong ones starting out early on and everyone else balancing out to match near endgame. That's a total balance issue where ranged/magic types are always OP.

when leveling recovery isnt good. End game it is but the build of this PvE Guide you dont want recovery for the tankyness where you CAN stand in fire and not care due to that you will have taken damage but then gain the health back you lost going to unstoppable force. this allows you to keep dpsing while other gear makes you move. There are many Different builds like 1 uses avatar gear with alot of recovery. this allows you to keep 1300 power and recovery up the whole time. Hope that helped!

I've just started to play this game and I'm lvling a GWF but it seems to me that recovery means you can get more action points for your daily which should mean more dmg right?? also that pve 4 set bonus is it a proc ?? good vid, sound was good and is that a cartoon movie in the back ground :D

I respect your opinion, but I disagree heartily. A good gwf makes adds (which is every damn boss fight) 5002342x more managable. Their dps is sick as well for trash and aoe situations (again, every boss). Run with a very good gwf.. youll understand.

Weak early but we come out of no where end game and top damage

Damn worst character early game. So annoying :( Still I like it the most. Damn little butter knives and goddamn pixie wands don't fit my style.
