I love your videos but as someone from Michigan who moved here 4 years ago you cannot overstate or exaggerate the heat. Its over 90° and 100% humidity 8-9 months !!! Theres hardly any shade because its mostly palm trees and theres hardly any clouds. Rain comes maybe twice a month and apparently its changed because there used to be showers daily like Hawaii around 4pm like a quick shower but it seems to have stopped and its hurting everything 😢. Its one thing to be hot when youre exposed and active in the direct sunlight but its still hot in the shade and humid. Prepare to be wet with sweat all day and night. In Michigan we have some swealtering summers but when night comes it cools off. In florida , not so much. Shorts and A/C are not a suggestion theyre a necessity and i cant tell you how much i miss wearing jeans boots and hoodies 😢

There is sooooo much more to florida than just disney, pfff its honestly at this point a stain on the state. It breaks my heart that something meant to be a childs wonderland is perverts paradise.. smh wherever the prey is the predators are close by. Just a sad truth.

Getting up early is the best for somany reasons. Nature is waking up , the sunrise, the temperature is better, the sun is inviting not scorching, and best of all the crowds arent thick yet so you enjoy others instead of despising the crowds

Wow I think I’ve seen it all now. Nice, a tourists from the north telling people all about my home state. Everything you said is ridiculous. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!

Three days to cancel timeshare

Don’t move to Florida and vote Republican ffs.

I've been to Florida several times and all of these are excellent tips!! And yes as come have commented, insect repellent is a great thing to make sure you have. You can get these cloth bracelets that you can wear around wrists and ankles that have insect repellent on them and they do work as well as the sprays. And you can expect rain most every afternoon during the summer and fall although often it doesn't last that long. But sometimes it gets to be a real rain storm so I would recommend one of those fold up rain ponchos. They can really be helpful! I love Florida and I was dumb enough to buy a timeshare there. BAD MOVE. He's right don't buy a timeshare. They are not going to be worth it for you and they try to upsell you every year. What people also don't know is that this is basically a pyramid scheme. The outfit I stupidly bought my timeshare with will sell to people with credit scores in the 400's, which is not excellent credit, and they don't care you get so upsold that you get bankrupt. It's great for them because they just turn around and sell the property to someone else. DON'T DO IT. DON'T BUY A TIMESHARE. But Florida is a wonderful place, so much to do, also it's beautiful and the people are great. The foods great also.

My tip for visiting Florida: DON'T!

Siesta Key is the most voted for top beach... never heard of Clearwater & did 5 tours.

Walking around streets after dark is dangerous. It's not the same place after dark.

There are also a lot of Snowbirds out west in Arizona, New Mexico, Southern Nevada, and Southern California as out in the Desert Areas of Palm Springs and out to the Colorado River too, in such place as Blythe, California, Yuma, Arizona, Lake Havasu City, Arizona and elsewhere along the Colorado River and inland from it.

Mosquitos, gnats, cockroaches, lizards falling from trees, snakes, gators swimming in lakes are nothing compared to long lines, bad drivers, high costs, low paying jobs, and a higher share of lunacy. But March is nice around the 15th.

OK so I’ve been in Florida my whole life and I never been in cross with an alligator or got in attacked by a critter it may sound more scarier than an actually is just stay away from the animals but most of them will just leave you alone if they leave you alone if you leave them alone also I’ve never seen a shark in my life I don’t know maybe it’s because I’m in Key Largo but it’s not that big of a deal with the critters here

So accurate 🤣 👌 however the taste of tap water varies greatly from place to place...deep well 💧 Zephyrhills spring water is some of the best I highly recommend visiting the springs through Florida water's cold and perfectly clear

Drove aunt Edna to Florida from Kansas three years ago....number one lesson driving in Florida....look twice, look three times! No joke! countless times I would look in my blind spot (for example) in the time it took to look ahead again someone is up in your blind spot driving 100! Beware Floridians, next time I drive there, I’m dropping aunt Edna off at cousin norms house....be ready to buy me a new car!

New Rule: Don't say Gay in Florida

I love your imitation of the Sandhill crane, They are basically dinosaurs and they will mess you up...I live in Grant Florida where they are seriously protected, along with the burrowing owl, scrub jay, indigo snake and gopher tortoise...don't mess with them it's a felony.

Good! As a resident of Clearwater, my main rule: Any body of water more than ankle deep, assume there is a gator on there and act accordingly. Tarpon Springs is wonderful. Get off the main street at the Sponge Docks and see where the locals live and interact. It's so cool to hear people speaking Greek. The Pinellas Trail is the best! Take magnesium, potassium and salt tablets EVERY DAY!

You'll save yourself allot of trouble by attempting to blend in and not talk about up north.

Don’t think that some places are not going to have diary free milk at theme parks in Florida because they have milk that is lactose free at Disney world in Florida is my don’t

I know a good don’ts in Florida

I'm from Orlando Florida , you want to blend in with the locals . Don't forget sunscreen bug spray because we have a lot of mosquitoes, don't flash your money because you will get robbed, if you go to Orlando don't go to Orange blossom trail at night we call OBT it's not safe at night.

My tip: know your naval flags. Know what the flags mean at lifeguard posts and the flags on ships. If you go to the beach, always be looking for ships in the distance. If you see one, you aren't safe.

Also, quick sand on the beaches is no joke. If you don't know what a sandbar is and how to avoid one, you probably shouldn't be on the beach. If you step into one, you'll start sinking very fast, so know what you're doing.

Also, please beware if you do anything related to nature. The traps alligator hunters use are designed to kill, you need to know how to spot them if you plan on going near the Everglades without a native guide. There are also old sea mines from the civil war along some of the quieter beaches close to the panhandle and around St. Augustine. If there's a sign that says don't go in the water, that means don't go close to the water., the general rule is always 20 feet.

There are also loose patches of grass everywhere. Those are snake pits. It might look like regular grass but it's completely hollow underneath, they will crumble if you hit them lightly with a long branch.

And yes, the locals are crazy. Florida is an unstable place, any wrong gesture can spell trouble. Also, everyone here conceal carries a gun, but they prefer to use their knives.
And please wear long pants. Nobody here wants to see your jorts.

DON'T DISS GOVERNOR DEATH SANTIS or RONALD DUMP

If you go to Disney early you are too burnt out to stay for the fireworks at midnight they shoot off. People start leaving cuz it's too darn hot during the day. Go later when you have the cool of the evening and less people.

People come to the beach resorts to take a vacation from their previous week spent in Orlando entertaining their kids at Disney World or Land or whatever it's called.

Clearwater, north red, mad beach, treasure island, John Stewart causeway, pass a grille, and who can forget GANDY BEACH LOL

You forgot to mention that if you’re a woman don’t stand around minding your own business because FL is a police state. Even if you aren’t doing anything wrong and haven’t done anything wrong the cops will stop and ask for your name and SS #. They run your name without probable cause. That’s bull shit! They don’t do that where I come from. Florida is a POLICE STATE where a person’s civil rights and liberties don’t matter.

One more thing, sugar sand. Don't get your vehicle stuck!!!

Also, love bug season. They can really mess up your paint and radiator.

FL has fire ants. If you pick oranges in an Orange Grove, know they are there. They all bite at once. Wear sunscreen, sunglasses, heck a Sombrero. If you have fair skin, you will get burnt. Know your snakes, coral, rattlesnakes, water moccasins. The last is aggressive & can climb/drop into your boat.

Don't be like the locals, don't toss your trash everywhere, don't burn your garbage, don't leave your poorly operating, stinky old truck running while you go in the store. . Filthy, selfish culture, that of north central Florida. Maybe it's different in south Florida.

Nothing pisses me off more than when tourists come here and litter on our beaches.
