I can't tell which is which, but the order of my favourite is D > B > C > A

ideally a microphone test using an acoustic guitar would have been a better feeler gauge for determining each mic pre's strengths.

B. Neve
A. Warm Audio
D. Red

Looking forward to how wrong I was! There's a lesson in this quiz.

B and D were the best sounding. B being the better of the two.

They all sound good

B has the greatest depth. Reveals rich harmonic structure of sounds.

I honestly wouldn't know which is which because I have 0 experience with all of them. Just tell my which ones were B and D cuz those 2 spoke to me the most lol. Also, did you accidentally flip the left and right channels for example C or is it just the preamp itself? I'm listening on headphones and It sounds like is flipped compared to the other 3 examples. It kinda messed me up trying to compare C to the rest of them.
