Embed a Shopify "Add to Cart" button into WordPress

Hi! I'm a little confused here, because this seems to accomplish the same thing that the Buy Button does -- it puts the product into a separate shopping cart on Wordpress instead of sending people back to Shopify to shop. That's the issue I want to avoid. (If people shop from a feed on Wordpress, they create a Wordpress cart. But if they then click on a banner or link to go our actual Shopify store, they leave behind their Wordpress cart and would have to create a new cart on Shopify).

Do you know if it is possible to create a product feed where each button takes people back to the Shopify product page?

Any idea if this slows down the website?

Good, but how can we also emend Shopify reviews. Without it the embed button is useless.

Do you have issues when you click say, 'home' on your site after adding the art poster to basket, in that you can't get back to the basket without clicking back on the art poster page again? (the icon for basket on the right hand side only appears on a page with the shopify shortcode on).. trying to think of a work around, really it would be good to have a button to the basket in the wordpress menu bar at the top of every page of our site

We have Point of Sale app in Shopify - however we do not see options for "embed on website" or "create check out link" under "more actions". How do we enable this functionality? thanks!
