As a FF14 player, is POE fun and worth it?

In all honesty, the only real threat is the final phase. Since it isn't really The Maven herself that is the problem: It's the gimmicks the Head uses.

Her image isn't too rough aside from the Head firing a Death Laser and creating Gravity Wells. The Wells are manageable if you put them at the edge or center and stack em. Her own attack pool isn't too rough bar Cascade of Pain.

The head pre-final itself really depends on which bosses you get. Some can make things annoying such as The Goddess, anything that can stall or stop your movement or the Bramble Valley bosses. As long as you take shots at the head while also keeping life up with high recovery, you can manage.

The memory game is only sucky in the final phase due to the spinning laser and Gravity Wells.

She is one boss I want to keep practicing and figuring out. She isn't my favorite Pinnacle boss as that goes to Sirus.

I cant handel this mechanics and just create a build can fast kill her\him:(

Great balance, GGG, when you make an endgame boss that could be killed only by few skills/builds in game. I'd like to see how any stand-on-hit melee skill will do this. And i don't even talk about hardcore.

good fighting man, this maven fight is brong tho, am a poe player since 2015, and since 2017 GGG is just like this: 1 step forward and 50 back.

The fact that this fight isn't 100% perfectly executed is incredibly helpful; it communicates quite effectively what the most dangerous mechanics and patterns are and which you can afford to graze or ignore in a pinch.

Let's be honest, most of the POE players will never get there.

GGG keeps making bosses designed to scratch 15k ES casters, meanwhile all the "normal" chars based on armor / 6k life and self-root attacks/selfcast are 10x screwed.
Grats for the continuous fail at balancing.

The bullet hell patterns dont seem that difficult but I bet the multiple-boss phase can be very difficult if you got too strong bosses for it, and the final memory game with the bullet hell patterns on top is just brutal.

i think the "progenitor" he warns us about is decay.
the elder was send by the so-called "decay" and was described as its herald, consuming souls to allow it to manifest. i think this decay is a primordial being. perhaps THE primordial being. and since its herald is now permanently caged, and its offsping hurt, itll arrive itself

I have failed twice in the roll before watching this video, always died from puzzle doom phrase, now I know that it's the much advance version of mastermind and need to remember the top left right combo and touch it before doom comes down. brilliant boss.

I guess it’s just right that this boss is insanely hard to kill as it is on the level of Shaper and Elder. She is the first visitor after the Elder’s defeat as the Envoy mentioned.
