Oh! You forgot to also mention that RPM Productions (who used to produce the USA state pageants for AL, LA, NC, & SC) secured the trademark rights to revive Miss All American prior to publicly announcing that they’re no longer producing pageants for those 4 states.
It’s also already out in the open that Gracen Grainger, Miss SC USA 2024, won an MAO local title and is set to compete at Miss SC this summer.

If I’m not mistaken I believe Anne said anyone who holds a MU license are only allowed to hold an MGI license and no other franchise. So it’s either a license for MU alone or MU and MGI

Random thought, but if they do send the 2024 first runner up instead of holding a pageant Maryland or DC will have to send their 2nd runner up because their first runner ups (first runners up? idk) were the same person

Maureen director of PNW pageants , love her btw and not her fault, has said in response to our questions about the pageant dates… “Hi Taylor, there are no state directors who signed executed agreements with the terms and conditions. That is why some are not recruiting and some are.” I believe another response to another contestant was that some directors didn’t sign agreements that could affect contestants and their families. I’m assuming there’s some directors that might not even want to sign because they feel that maybe it isn’t a very good contract that protects us title holders? That’s my guess. I think it’s a mix of directors trying to protect contestants and directors not receiving anything so they can move forward. So, idk. It’s sad though

It's sad it has come to this. Mismanagement after mismanagement. And with MUO seemingly ignorig the ladies, is a clear sign that things are not going well. Miss USA has the most number of MU winners with the last one being R'bonney. I hope they're able to turn things around and continue to be the pageant powerhouse that they truly are.

I have a conspiracy theory that the winner of MUO's upcoming telemundo reality show, ' Miss USA Latina,' will be the girl who Anne and Raul crown as Miss USA

I feel like state of the Miss USA organization has affected the way the state organizations have crowned title holders. All the girls winning have a lot of $$ and the girls that’s should win don’t come from loads of $$

I don't think MUO allows that to happen. They want a sole organisation to host their national pageant, and im guessing at the state level.

I got a text message to apply to miss ohio usa from a sponsor who had my #. and in the same week a few friends who previously entered got congratulations emails when they never applied for 2025. These numbers are low and we all know why.

The org is a messed up. Year after year always been problematic

I do not rly love the multiple franchise idea just because prep wise it’s all so different. Like my platform would not do well at earth USA. Most girls competing at Miss USA or at the state level half the time we barely even hear about them having a platform. Plus the walking styles for grand vs USA idk it’s all complicated like you said with the age limits. Thanks for keeping everyone updated bc I had no idea this was happening. All I’m going to say is im rly like it over here at MAO.

I've been saying for many years, I wish states could hold one pageant and send reps to Universe, Supra, International, Earth etc. It just makes sense for sponsorships, costs, and you should get PLENTY of contestants with so many opportunities, PLUS, they could recompete for another title the following years if they wanted. It wouldn't be that complicated to discern who is eligible for which titles previous to the pageant and you just go down the top 5 or 6 in terms of who would be sent where. I think it's a great idea.

I have a feeling they will appoint a Girl as Miss USA that's what they did years ago with Miss CANADA because it used to be on CTV from what i can remember . Then they appointed a winner and about 2000 or 2003 when they started to have pageants again But not on TV
The best bet is to send a Runner up from last year or just miss this year all together so they can find away to figure out the mess they are in and clean it up . If you ask me I don't think Kune Anne Doesn't care at all because most of the pageant lovers are in the Asian or South American Countries it's so SAD where the MISS USA has ended up at . I used to love watching MISS USA every year the 80's were the best then 90's came with a Twist of the 80's then the 00's came now we are here in crazy times I don't really know what to think about the problem . They have that here in Canada the runners ups go to other pageants Don't think Miss Universe Canada's 1st runner up doesn't go to Miss International now they have there own pageant now . But Miss World Canada they have a couple of Pageants for the Runner's Ups to go to
Miss Grand Thailand runners ups go to other pageants and Miss Universe Thailand Runner up when Antonia won she went on to win a International Pageant I think it was Miss Intercontinental I could be wrong

Seems like we’re going backwards. A national pageant may not be necessary. A state pageant may not be necessary. Just enough women to compete for Miss USA as a title and off she goes to Miss Universe. Some countries still hold modeling and interview competitions and select their winner from that pool. USA isn’t the same anymore. We aren’t in charge of UNIVERSE so the USA is just another contestant from another area on the map. Could be time to say goodbye to the lure and luster of a national pageant. Thank you Dani for your time and dedication to our Miss USA dreams. In the Philippines, a much more accurate example in the local pageant scene would be Miss Iloilo where they normally send their top winner to Miss Universe Philippines then another Heartfelt Queens are sent to other franchises
