Much respect to Karatsev. Never give up attitude and tenacity. Dimitrov faltered again before the injury by trying to play safe and not keeping his foot on the gas early in the 2nd set. He saw that Karatsev would battle him for the long haul and folded. Dimitrov had 2 previous opponents that were compromised and he himself was fresh, hadn't played any 5 setters, but when a challenge came, he didn't respond. Injuries are part of the game but him pushing serves in and then not even reacting to the returns was embarrassing. Get your ass off the court.

Serena may feign an injury or complain about the universe every time she falls behind on the score, but she wins because she’s great, not because she’s a drama queen. The same goes for Novak. It does not matter if Novak is injured or not. If he wins, he deserves the win.

Why even keep playing if you're injured and not going to even try?
