You know what I just noticed? The lack of Natsu in the opening! We only see a tiny frame of him at the start and then a little bit in the end with the final screen.
Not complaining or anything tbh it fits as is!

Fairy Tail Always Had The Best Anime Openings

I wasn't a fan of the overly J-poppy style for Final Season's OP songs, but the transitions in these visuals were irresistably smooth and with some solid animation cuts and evocative imagery from OP director/storyboarder Yuuji Suzuki who'd go on to be the series director for Eden's Zero. Unfortunately, he passed away in September of last year, may he rest in peace.

I'm in the final arc more than thirty episodes and it's all over... the opening is incredible I love it but on the one hand it makes me want to stop fairy tail because when it's over I will no longer have the hype of the following episodes... I hope for an exceptional end!
