ОтветитьI only have a band to use so it's a bit awkward but it still helps increase the challenge. This is really helpful before a glute workout, especially since I have problems with good activation. And.... I think it's getting easier? I'm going to see who I can convince to get me ankle weights for xmas 😉

ОтветитьI do this one at least once a week as a finisher. 10lb ankle weights, guys. It doesn't get easier but the results are obvious. This is seriously one of my favorite glute isolation workouts out there.

ОтветитьI have done this add on about 3x through different series. AND TODAY! was the first time i made it through with my ankle weights the whole way!! I am finally building some hamstrings and glutes!!

ОтветитьI had to choose between 4 lb and 5 lb ankle weights (Caroline used 4.5 lb equivalent) I’m so glad I went with 4 lb! That was tough. The beginning went great, but by the second half I was struggling! All the side laying work on one side did me in. Definitely took many pauses during that portion 😌

ОтветитьTip: for more glute engagement during the side lying leg extensions/circles/pulses etc, angle your leg so your toes point ever so slightly down towards the ground.
ОтветитьI attmepted this one with roughly 0.8-1.2 kg strapped to each foot today as makeshift ankle weights. There were times when I paused, but I'm proud of today's efforts and looking forward to the day when I can do this one without unallocated stops.

ОтветитьI’ve been consistently completing this workout for at least two months or more and I am ALMOST able to do the whole thing without stopping 😍 My first update was that I couldn’t get through it without stopping at least 3X ! So cool to see that improvement 🎉❤.
ОтветитьFirst time attempting this one and: WOW. This was SUPER tough without any extra weight. I had to stop a few times - my glutes and back where being challneged, but so were my knees😅
I enjoyed the challenge of this, and those last moves (I'm calling them "hip wags") were pretty darn intense.
Killer workout and time well spent with the lovely Lady Girvan.
