ОтветитьExcellent video
ОтветитьBest tutorial i ever find. Thank you man!
ОтветитьAmazing explanation. I’ve had this camera for 3 years but still learned sooo much
ОтветитьTq for useful information🙏
ОтветитьWhy I couldn't find zone focusing and wide af tracking on my XE1?
ОтветитьHi, can I ask why when we already in focus for zone mode in AF-C, but out of sudden got moving subject pass through the focus changed to the moving subject? How to make it stop focusing on the moving subject out of sudden while we already in focus on the static subject?
Ответитьit is a pain in the ass the zone can't be locked in the center of the frame.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThanks for mentioning that Pre AF runs the lens motor constantly and is stress. I had it on, but now turned it off
ОтветитьThanks for the clear explanations. I have recently begun turning off the AF option on the display. In "area" or "shot" mode, the focus square (I usually keep it at "spot") is never at the center of the display when I turn on the camera. I find it instead in the lower left corner of the display and must shift it with the joystick to the center. I don't know why that happens. It's as if it were a default position. At any rate, a pain. Hence my decision to maintain AF on off.
ОтветитьI'm often troubled with focus if Fujifilm. Thank you so much for explanation! Now it is clear!
ОтветитьMy joystick isnt working to select focus area
ОтветитьI am new to Fuji and am so confused with these AF options and how they behave. You are an excellent teacher and make the topic so easy to follow and understand. 👍Thank you so so much! ❤
ОтветитьHi
I have an xt3 and I have a video focusing question
I want to be able to Use touch to focus while recording video but when in manual mode it wont let me.
When I change focusing to S mode I can touch to fucus while recoding but cant see any focus peaking
I want to be able to use Focus peaking and touch to focus while recording in 1 mode, how can I achieve this?
Thank you
Excellent, succinct, explanation. Thank you.
Fuji's implementation of back-button focus in Manual mode is genius I think. It makes zone-focussing so easy and makes the camera super responsive. I generally just tap the rear AF button when pointing the camera about 4-5 metres in front of me, that gets me a perfect "Street" zone. At f/5.6 and 1/250th I just let auto ISO run to 12,800 for the ideal Street walkabout.
This is by far the best Fuji AF tutorial I have ever seen! Thank you so much 🙏🏻
ОтветитьBrilliantly done ! Many thanks 🙏 subscribed
Ответитьthanks a lot for the tutorials, super helpful!
ОтветитьThis was so helpful
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. But I still have a question...I recently bought a X100V and if I wanna take a picture of 2 people for example , my camera puts the focus on only one person. So one person is in focus and the other one is blurry. How can I change that so my focus will be on both persons or at the whole view? Thanks in advance!
Ответитьthank you for making this tutorial, it's very helpful.
ОтветитьI love that Doraemon figure.
ОтветитьI’m a total newbie to photography and was just gifted a fujifilm x100T … this was immensely useful! Thank you 🔥
ОтветитьThere are so many variables 😢.
ОтветитьTy for your review !
ОтветитьMy only fear of using DSLRs is that its hard to learn it on your own. I tried getting a quick tutorial from a Pro, but since he cant teach me everything, we can only do Q&As and it only get complicated as we go on, ... until everything frustrates me. When I try a tip, we always end up discussing another feature simultaneously, and it gets confusing. Either im too dumb, learning it is complicated, or too impatient.
ОтветитьHello.
I've recently noticed that when i half press the shutter to focus on my x100v, the screen flickers until acquiring focus. It mostly occur between f 2.2-3.6 in AF-S mode (sometimes it occurs even at f4), in dark indoor enviorments or when i am focusing on dark objects or surfaces. Outside in daylight it doesn't manifest it. Also, if i put the camera in Manual or AF-C the 'flicker' goes away..it only affects AF-S mode. It does not affect the quality of the photos or the exposure or anything else, it's just a visual thing. Firmware version 2.12 (latest).
I've put up a test to see how the camera react to different objects being focused. First I used a dark subject and the flicker was present, then I switched it with a bright one and there was no flicker. I repeated this about 20 times with different objects, dark and bright, and every single time on the dark subject it flickered, on the bright one it didn't.
Does anyone encounter the same on their x100v or any other fuji camera or can test it with their x100v in the same conditions? Dark room/dim light, f 2.2-3.6, AF-S mode?
Is this normal or i should worry?
Great tutorial, thanks for your work 🙏🏽🫶🏽🤝🏽
ОтветитьWowww! Many thanks for the effort and time you put into creating this vid. You rock 👏
ОтветитьThank you so much for this super clear tutorial Jay! I was messing around with the m, s, c, settings and my focus was out of tune at times. So much clearer now :)
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial, coming from film medium format cameras, with only manual focus, this was extremely helpful!
ОтветитьExcellent video chock full of info. Thanks.
ОтветитьAm I in the minority in using a single focus point for over a decade?
I like to be in charge of where that focus point lands
As a landscape photographer, what would you recommend as focus settings- where you want most everything sharp? Thank you
ОтветитьThanks for amazing video. I have few questions I will each as a comment.
Is there any relation between the fovus mode Manual and M shooting mode?
Great video, thank you!
Ответитьamazing video, thanks
ОтветитьVery well done. Please mention when the camera calculates exposure too in the three modes. .
ОтветитьM mode sounds like a pain in the ass. But it's good to know what it's actually for.
ОтветитьThank you, that was helpful. I watched this video basically because I’m struggling with slow autofocus on my x100v. I switched from x-e3 to x100v and it’s huge difference in af speed. Trying to take photo of my 2 year old son was very frustrating. I told him to not to move :), bit sa soon as I take out the camera he start to running toward me.
, and all shots are blurry. I’m gonna try af-s with single af and eye tracking.
The best focus tutorial, thank you so much!
ОтветитьI have enjoyed the X100V so much that I am thinking of adding a Fuji XT4 and buying the X mount lenses. I know the X mount lenses have been out for about 10 years. Is it still a good time to buy the X mount system? Or is a new generation of Fuji lenses on the horizon? I would hate to invest in X mount lenses and find them not compatible with future Fuji cameras. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
ОтветитьI have learnt so much from this video. Thank you
ОтветитьRevisiting this video today. Holy crap. I've been looking for the focus peak option for the longest time. 😅
AF-C + MF is the best!
Thanks for an excellent explanation. Best I’ve seen. I just discovered your channel and will subscribe.
ОтветитьThanks for the tutorial very comprehensive and very helpful
ОтветитьGreat video, and thanks
