Black Ops Cold War in 2023 - Worth Playing?

This game is certainly in a much better state than MW 2019. At least there aren't cheaters in 90% of Search & Destroy games

This was the last CoD made using the T8 engine, an iteration of the engine Treyarch has used since basically World at War, which is why it's the only one lately that feels the most like OG CoD. I'm thinking of playing this game until the next Treyarch game releases

As of 11-30-2023 it is infested with hackers in PC/Crossplay lobbies.

If you play on console, Disable Crossplay for a better experience.
I uninstalled due to rampant hacked (PC) lobbies.

MW is always a quick burn, while Black Ops just hits and keeps hitting its strong points.

I loved Cold War since Launch, I have always loved that Treyarch always went for more arcady style shooters. This is why we love Treyarch.

I don’t know if I’m going to get hate or something but im just going to say it Call of duty cold war is my favorite cod game especially zombies mode so underrated

Cold War was NOT a downgrade, it just had a different style from the mw19

In my opinion it’s a vary mid cod campaign is really good tho short but good. Zombies is fun when u first start but when u get fully upgraded it get stale bc there’s really no depth In The maps. Multiplayer is mid the guns are alright but sbmm makes it annoying to play

3 minutes in and doesn’t get to the point whether or not the game is still worth it or not and is trying too hard to be funny…

I loved the feel of this one, idk why but since it came out I just loved it, it felt more like an old Call of Duty, the maps were amazing and looks wise I think it was the best CoD ever

I grinded Dark Aether and DM Ultra I actually enjoyed this game much more compared to MWII multiplayer

Just redownloaded Cold War, I’m so excited to play it again. Treyarch is the saving grace for the COD franchise

I liked this game tho I don't care about graphics and shit you don't buy a shooting game for graphics you buy it for the game play but that's just me and it was a verstile cod and we can't forget the tec-9 and dmr-14 great video tho ghost

oh yeah 100% worth playing. all the sweats are in cod mw2 right now as well as hackers so yeah playing this right now till they shift to cod mw3. Been having a blast.

I loved this game when it came out . . . then I felt like it was getting worse with all the flashy anime and futuristic cosmetics

This score streak system is way better. Makes rushing and gameplay fun, as opposed to people camping every damn corner and how slow the game is

Cold War is absolutely super-underrated... I spent about 18 Days of playtime total in-game. Around 11.5d in Zombies and 'bout 6.5d in Multiplayer and I'm still playing it every now and then to this day in '23.

It might be the worst Black Ops out there but imagine Sledgehammer and Activision didnt put their hands onto it and it was only Treyarch like usually. This had the potential to be top 3 Black Ops out there
