I'm genuinely curious to see what they do with Rain's story. He looks like he can be a great good guy... or at the very least have really good conflicts

Some are concerning and some are threatening.. if there is one thing i love in this MK1 dialogue is by how there is comprehension amongst the fighters

Bi Han''s tempting way of talking to his brother to go back is supposedly a trap set by Bi Han, luckily Kuai Liang however refused to accept his brother''s proposal to go back, rejecting Bi Han''s principled views and also presumably Kuai Liang knows his brother''s lustful desires to kill and Bi Han thirsts for his blood because Bi Han blames him for scheming, scheming and treachery! With Kuai Liang''s separation from the clan and rebellion against his brother''s principles. Kuai Liang presumably wanted to respect his father''s law and continue according to his will as the protector of the Earthrealm from any attacks that might threaten it. I have great respect for Kuai Liang''s decision!.

Why i kinda feel bad for Rain~ He know he make a huge mistake so he wanted to redem himself but no one want him , so he decided to go to Chaos with Havik

I love how bi-han and havik are complete opposites in ideology and yet both keep getting rejected by everyone lol

Seeing Geras having free will in some form is such a massive improvement from MK11, especially with Liu Kang seeing him as a friend rather than a tool. He was a character I just sort of forgot about, to a fleshed out character. MK1 did him, and many other characters, so much justice

I'm going to be honest, I don't hate all of Megan Fox's line reads. I'm not saying her work overall was passable here but not all of it is straight up. Terrible either. Her ladder ending I expected her to sound much worse but that was pretty okay as well. Some of her banter lines here also work. Pretty decent but nothing great. All in all, yeah a lot of her performance seems very phoned in and it probably could be for all we know, but somehow not all of it is terrible either.

A timeline where Mileena is a sweetheart still seems like a fever dream, but it's a welcome one.

I love how Kung Lao turns down Cage's offer to be a star not because he doesn't want it, but because he's true to the Shaolin's principles.

I still think that the rewriting of these characters is super good for the most part. I also love that characters like Rain, Reptile, Baraka, and Reiko have actual personality now and aren't just mindless goons to be sent and get defeated.
