As someone who played violin for 6 years i still think it sounds like dogshit, unless you have multiple string instruments playing with you, or you are an amazing violinist.

Beginner?!? That vibrato is solid! I’ve come from 20 odd years of guitar but I’ve no chance of playing this with the vibrato. I thought the transition from guitar wouldn’t be too bad but it’s soooo much harder 🤦‍♂️😂

Just bought my first violin today. So excited to learn

I have a question when you like touch the notes on you're violin like 1 or 2 professional always move their finger or something like that & how do you do that?

I am a pianist and also play al little bit of guitar and clarinet, I have ordered a violin. And am gonna try to learn caprice 24 first thing then epically fail probably

I’m about to buy a violin. It will be my 6th instrument. I mostly want to learn so I can write better orchestral parts for my songs and understand more of how the violin is actually played.

To those complaining about her use of vibrato: I see your point, but I personally like that she uses the vibrato. Can I do it? No. But it seems like a minor additional skill to add to a song once you can play it through normally.

And a little bit of vibrato makes it sound so much cooler and more fun to play.

The hardest part of learning an instrument for me is the dissatisfaction of playing boring music... Ike Mary had a little lamb. But with a little bit of vibrato, she shows that even a "boring" melody can be very enjoyable to listen to.

The whole purpose for learning violin for me is to have fun. And vibrato looks like fun!!

That's my viewpoint anyway.

I can see that your index finger is released when you pull the bow. I am a beginner and this is the first song i am learning now. I am also observing how experts play and the way you hold the bow is one that caught my attention.
