I'm not sure this song is great, but it is singular. Without it, I'm not sure we would have Apples in Stereo, Squeeze, maybe Cake, and tons of other sideways power pop bands. There are changes in this song that don't happen elsewhere until this point and that have endured. I listen to it a lot without loving it but definitely see what it's pollenated.

I saw Paul in Raliegh NC what a great show this song jet was my highlight of course they play a lot of great songs the whole show was killer.

The reason that fans see photos of The Beatles with Ali (the challenger) from '64 is because the then-heavyweight champ, Sonny Liston, didn't have time to do a session with "that bunch of sissies." (They were all in Miami at the time.) Liston died of an overdose in 1970. I saw Macca in Baltimore, summer 2022, do a brilliant 2.5 hour, non-stop show at age 80. God bless the soul of poor Sonny Liston... But who the hell was he calling a sissy?!

This is going to sound insane, but I think McCartney was actually a bit underrated in the Beatles. In Wings, you get to see he is actually a superior musician and still wrote some great songs such as this. He truly is a musical genius.

So Am I the only one who Google searched just like this, " Song with lyrics "Jet, Jet, Jet, I'm coming to you, I thought the major," then I hit search. Please allow me to explain why I did this. I was on Reddit watching Low Passes, just airplanes that gets super low to the ground and without any wheels out, and then fly back up in the air. It was interesting to me. While watching one video there was a song playing. My brain took a liking to what I could hear. I replayed the video over and over listening to hear any words I understood. Mind you, the song was kinda static sounding. But something about the melody just caught me. I didn't know if I was hearing a crowd say "Jess, Just, Jack, Jet or even the word Yes," while the drums beat. Then I hear some word with this slower melody break in it and it sounded so sweet. I exit Reddit after I heard a few words I did understand. Now, I've never heard this song before. So I go to Google and typed in what I thought was said. Bennie and the Jets popped up but I know that song by Elton so it wasn't that one. Leaving on a jet plane popped up which I know that song, and of course that wasn't it. I did another search this time I just went out on a limb and typed in the words "Jet, Jet, Jet, I'm coming to you, and Jet I thought the major," hit the search. I saw Paul Pop up. This video right here. Just out of curiosity I click play. Soon as I heard those drums, I knew I found that song. Quickly I went to my Pandora and downloaded it as fast as I could. I'm in love y'all. OMG. I am a lover of Music. Its my healer. I'm also a singer as well. Music runs in my family and my blood. I don't have a specific type of music gen that I stick to because I have my favorites in every style even classical. From Heavy metal, R&B, Hip hop, Rap, Alternative, Spanish, Arabic, Islamic, just a huge variety that I love. But now, I'm super happy because now, I have a some homework cut out for me. To learn this song and by Tuesday, I'll be on stage ready to do it in karaoke, and finally, link up with the band and I'll be doing this at my next Gig. 💖💖💖💖💖💖👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Sir Paul can simply do no wrong. I was raised on this music. If ever you wanted a McCartney song to blow the windows out of your car, this is the one.....even if you cranked it on 8-track (which is where I was introduced to it)!
