I totally believe her. I had a very similar experience. If he was talking, it was a lie. My Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde had a wife when he and I were supposedly married. His 1 night stand, which resulted in a child, yeah, he was married to her. His supposed mother, she wouldn't answer me when I asked who Jane was. His Dr of psychology degree, yeah, he bought a certificate online from the people who were running a fake certificate ring in the office next to where he worked. He goes from prey to prey, runs up their credit, causes a trail of lies, and goes to the next victim.

A man in my family did the same thing, literally down to the football lie. Only difference is the woman stayed and he became abusive even making her name 2(TWO) kids after him lol

I would have put my stuff in storage, turned off all the utilities, and vacated. He would have a miserable empty place. I am very sorry you went through this, but I also find it extremely heartbreaking on many levels. He clearly had mental health issues his whole life. "He been a liar since he was young". What does that tell you? That no one gave a darn to find a way to fix this then. They unleashed him on the world and got worse and worse and he should have been hospitalized or incarcerated. He makes Baby Reindeer look like a cupcake. I really believe this all could have been avoided if someone did something with him when he was a kid.

Reminds me of this guy named Curtis Smith from GA. He was literally insane and tried to have a film made for $1 million and con his way until a week before production when checks had to go out. He set up a bank account, hired a lawyer, production manager, it was exactly like this guy. Like why lie and say you have money when you don’t and he was great at wording things in a believable way. Things always seemed to not work out. I think he actually had a mental break last I saw in his Facebook a few years ago. It was also over Covid in 2020-2021. Funny enough, he lived in California for some time as well and took the identity of his father. It was just so hard to believe such a crazy person exists.

I hate the saying “What happens at home, stays at home” that is a very toxic way of thinking I feel. My family was like that too and I understand that you don’t tell everybody your business. That’s when a community that you can trust comes into play. You need someone to confide in so that you can talk about what’s going on in your life to process and evaluate whether or not you are over thinking things or if something really is fishy and out of line. Most of the time as woman we like to gaslight ourselves and downplay our intuition, when 9 times out of 10 our intuition is correct.
