the amount of work that is wasted in most industries is amazing! for 90% of applications a good sub 10k camera will probably be enough. most people will watch it on a 1080 or a bad 4k tv screen and streamed from the internet in a compressed lossy format. No need for capturing this on film even 8k capture is probably a waste

Its a pretentious camera format inferior to modern 8K cameras in every way and only used for marketing because the public go "wow" when they hear imax. There was a time when it was visually the best but that's long ago.

And then there's me who can't tell the difference between 720p and 8k.
