This is for VARISPEED — perfect for slowing down audio to figure out tricky parts.
To change the tempo of a SAMPLE, in the Inspector panel, click "Flex & Follow" > "Align Bars & Beats."
If your sample's tempo varies (ie it wasn't recorded to a click), you can force it onto the grid using Smart Tempo Settings (click "KEEP" under the Project Tempo), then select "Set Imported Files To" > "On + Align Bars & Beats." Now it'll follow the tempo of the project (select "Flex & Follow" in the Inspector panel if it doesn't).
Excelent! Thank You!
ОтветитьThis absolutely destroyed my session. The record light is stuck on, and I can't do anything. Cheers so much.
ОтветитьAWESOME!!! Thanks, man! Don't have to get ASD anymore!!!
ОтветитьDoes this apply to vocal lines? Everyone shows instruments but never has someone shown vocal lines to my knowledge.
Ответитьhow do you do this for ONE track lol.. not the all your trakcs
ОтветитьTo the point. Thank you very much
ОтветитьThank you so much!!!
ОтветитьThis was a clear explanation. Unfortunately, speeding up your files damages the sound.
ОтветитьDoes anybody know how to export the audio at the slowed tempo once you turn on varispeed? When I export, it does so at the original, sped up tempo.
ОтветитьK but how do you slow down just 1 audio file in a simple manner that doesn't require opening an entirely different session and bouncing the tracks??
Ответить59 second tutorials - and it works! - yeah!
Ответитьmy song wont play when I try altering speed. How can I fix this? Thanks.
ОтветитьOk it’s slowing down the audio I’m recording too how do I keep my recording up to pace with the beat now that it’s slowed
Ответитьsadly as usual it doesn't work.. brand new logic and brand new mini mac.. i was excited about finally having some reasonably profession functionality.. and this would be VERY useful for learning .. but it worked twice and now as soon as I change the number everything goes silent.. typical dysfunctional illogic in my experience unfortunately..
Ответитьdont work , when you share it out as a mp3 tho
ОтветитьQuestion: I was able to slow the track down, but every way I export it seems to revert to the original speed. ??
ОтветитьThanks so much!!! I went back to listen to a guitar recording for my album and it just felt rushed. Now it's a bit more relaxed and still sounds perfect. 🥳
ОтветитьGod bless you
ОтветитьGreat video- straight to the point!
ОтветитьGreat clip Joshua, thanks!

Ответитьhow do you slow down just one channel or audio region?
Ответитьthx
Ответитьgreat video thanks!
ОтветитьJust THANK YOU !!!
ОтветитьYour tutorial was great and I was able to slow down my entire track without messing up the pitch! Once I go to export the song it only saves as the original speed. I'll take any advice you have, Thank you!!
ОтветитьSICK!!!
ОтветитьKudos for the Van Halen track choice! Varispeed doesn't seem to work for me though. Once enabled, no audio plays... any ideas?
Ответитьthis slows down the whole beat how do you slow down part of the beat?
ОтветитьNIce! Thanks for making this. Solved my problem!
ОтветитьPERFECT VIDEO. STRAIGHT TO THE POINT!!! TY
Ответитьthanks!
ОтветитьWow this is great thanks! Is there a way you know of that slows down and lowers the pitch of the audio as well?
ОтветитьDid not work me. You simply can't hear the audio when you make it any different than zero.
ОтветитьThanksssss!!!!
