So Schwarzenegger
1- Trained 5 hours a day
2- He was managing a construction business with a friend of his own ans he also worked as a bircklayer, that probably takes at least 4 hours
3- He went to college too, that should probably take at least 3 hours
4- And he took acting classes from 8 to 12 at night, that makes up fer 4 hours,
In total, the summary is 16 hours a day.... He worked 16 hours a day, everyday. Woow. Just woow... ...

Arnold keeps on speaking about a vision, but what he means is: drive. He didn't have the vision to become what he is today. It's not like an invention he made. He had the drive to keep going to the USA, the drive to learn all these things and to do them. His vision was to get rich! Because that is the American dream.: Get rich, then you can do what you want, right?! He was and is just playing these roles, because he was opportunistic and did what he could do best: convince other people that he's better than their leaders. It's the Leitmotiv of his life: I am better than my brother, better than the other bodybuilder, better than...

Overall, Arnold's life is an incredible journey, but I think it would have been much more true, if he didn't base everything on the premise of money+power (the American Dream). Because the dream may have made him rich, but watching the latest documentary on Netflix made me think he's still searching for the point of it all. Because from Arnold's standpoint whatever he did wasn't the impossible thing. To him it was always possible (in his mind + if he does the work). So it would have been interesting to see what Arnold would have deemed an impossible challenge and how he would have overcome it. That however is a more philosophical problem and Arnold was always more interested in practical problems. The guy makes me think so much about myself and what my impossbile challenge is. I actually know what it is and I always knew since I was a kid. I want to create a graphic novel and been convincing myself all my life not to do it. Because there is always someone else, who can do the same thing better? Maybe. But in the end what we all have to realize is nobody can do it like ourselves. All we can do is try, fail and retry. You need patience and good health and overall fitting conditions to make your impossible dream true. First you have to be strong enough to do it, then you can make your dream come true. But don't let someone else interfere and tell you what that dream is. Arnold did very good, but his was a life of interference and influence. The huge influence his family and mentors have had on him shaped him into a materialistic man. But in the interviews you see him as not being shallow and greedy but rather philosophical. Imagine if Arnold would have met different people, how it might have changed his future. He might have become an intellectual instead. Because that is the one thing I think he secretly wants to achieve: to be known as a philosopher, too.

"I'll be back". this man had a dream. The difference between him and the rest of the global population is he took the first step and never looked back. Truly a gift to humanity.

I heard about Arnold Schwarzenegger when I joined a gym back in 94. Once I started bodybuilding Arnold's name comes up because he was the biggest name in bodybuilding. And after 3 years I quit my day job and became a personal trainer full-time. Then one of my clients gave me a copy of the movie "Pumping Iron". After I watched it, Arnold became my idol because he had achieved the American dream by coming from another country and by working very hard he became the biggest name in bodybuilding, then he became the biggest name in actions movies, and if that wasn't enough, he got into politics and became the governor of California. How many people can say they had done even just one of those accomplishments...

Arnold and Sly, both great gifts to the history of human civilization from God. It's like God came down on earth, took a human form, built a life with their will, and decided let's show the humans how it's done.
