I always wanted to do that’s spell ..

All of the students were ready to defend Hogwarts, their home. The Houses were united in that moment.
Some were injured, but would be safe.

And some never made it out alive. Struck down before their time by Death Eaters.

The teachers who survived had to tell parents that their child was dead, and they would be coming home in a casket.

Minerva McGonagall had to look at the bodies of all the students who fell during the battle. And she most likely had to be the one to write the gut wrenching letters to the families.

She outlived those who didn't make it out of the battle alive. Students who were supposed to outlive her, who were supposed to graduate, get jobs, marry and do great things, who now would never get the chance to do those things.

Absolutely adore Maggie Smith, she brought so much to a charcter I already loved

Maggie was battling cancer during this and used her strength for this scene. What a badass.

Professor McGonagall has found excitement in the face of danger. That's why she's in Griffindor. She's always been my favorite. She's even more badass in the books.

I always thought the scene where the goblin professor walking in the middle to cast the spell was so powerful. It literally showed how despite being small he was on equal level with all other professors the robe flowing also made him look badass

I swear to god bro JK Rowling is a absolute genius coming up with this stuff. The director setting up the characters and props to the music producers too. Absolutely magnificent.

All of these kids can go and pretend they were badass, but we all know exactly who they got it from.

This is my very favorite movie. I've watched it since I was a kid until now I'm going to university. Every time I go back to watch I get excited every time.

No one is talking of how genious McGonagall is. Before Voldemort armies attacked Hogwarts, she managed her school won the Highschool Choir Tournament with the song called "Joyful Joyful"

We needed people like McGonagall in real life. The way lessons were taught were great. Strict when needed but rewarding as well.
