This is laughable; because they medical system is broken in the US and there's an "incentive" to prescribe drugs, Dr Phil offers you free treatment for some drama, and you should be grateful for having to lie on international TV. America is built on incentives, but that's the source of the problem, innit?

Those incentives cause the painkillers abuse, the homelessness and school shootings. Because of "freedom" and "incentives"? Rome, as a city, was eternal - until it wasn't.

I’m 1 year sober from a $100 a day heroine addiction and in a methadone program. The segment with the pregnant girl and her mom PISSED me off. If he knew that a pregnant heroine addict was coming to the show, why would they not have a medical detox or maintenance set up for her? Her mom did the right thing by getting her heroine…ppl that luckily haven’t been through withdrawal don’t and won’t ever understand how bad it is. It can also be extremely dangerous depending on the amount of heroine the person is taking. People can literally die from withdrawals, heart failure, seizures etc. IMO, if he was really worried so much about the baby, he wouldn’t have put her in a situation where she was going into withdrawals and with the only option being getting heroine…WHILE BEING FILMED. I hope she is sober. He had no right patronizing the mom for getting her daughter what she needed to not be in danger of DTs while pregnant.

Bhad Babie is seen by many as a meme and a fool, but I have a bit of respect for her for speaking about her experience at the Ranch. She’s far smarter than the TV would let you believe. She knows who she is and she’s media savvy on top of that. These “ranches” employing disciplinarian measures on these teens treat the teens like it’s entirely their fault they are that way, but 99% of cases it’s the parents who are to blame. They’re the ones who raised the kids to be “entitled” and selfish. These harsh wilderness camps are little more than a way for people to fulfill that primordial barbaric feeling of satisfaction in inflicting punishment on someone who you feel is too ‘uppity’ or belligerent. It’s a whole facility modeled to embody a paddling or a spanking mixed with torture.

Animal therapy and working on a farm or ranch can do good I think, but the way these camps are designed confuse punishment with rehab. If a kid is rehabilitated, that is entirely coincidental.

I'm the mother of a 22-year-old daughter and I'm angry that Phl said to the parents they're only obligated to provide a home and food. Bullshite! You are obligated to love them, listen to them, and educate them in not only knowledge but love for others and themselves. My daughter isn't perfect by any means but she's not addicted to substances, has never committed a crime, and though we may argue, it's never violent, things don't get broken. Love, see, and listen to your kids and intuition will follow

I'm a cis woman but omg would I have loved period products that were more gender neutral. i don't understand the anger cis women have at a couple of mildly inclusive products. like not all cis women want those super perfumed, brightly pink wrapped crap. transphobes talk about "erasing women" while they erase not only all trans women (who are, in fact, women) but also a ton of cis women who don't need/want everything to be super stereotypical fem.

My wife went to school with a girl who was on Dr phil, her parents had kept her in a cage like crawl space underneath their trailer house and starved and abused her.

So they put them on the show, pretend to help them with a phoney referral and then totally wash their hands of them?? Huh?? I’m gobsmacked

I recently bingewatched as many episodes of as many seasons i could find, mostly of ill behaved kids topic.
Found it interesting how in the earlier years, the kids were monsters and he'd tell parents to remove their whole room, etc until they straightened up and then ffwd to later years and it was more common to see it as the parents having "mistreated" the kids and forced their hands.
To the point he accidentally rockets one brat to stardom and riches with that ridiculous "cash me outside how bout dat" garbage.😡

The camp he was entangled with for years was a terrible place for problematic kids. Those kids were tortured there and sexually assaulted.
I hope he never sleeps at night because of the evil those kids endured.

My ex used to watch Dr. Phil but I couldn't stand the guy. The few times I tried to watch it with her, I saw an arrogant bully with a temper who yelled, berated and demeaned his guests.

I'm not sticking up for Dr Phil, but I am going to point out Bregoli's mom decided to monetize on her infamy and make as much bank as possible, which means she's supporting her daughter's antisocial behavior. So in this Phil was right: the home life was to blame.

I rarely watched this show but I once saw him give the WORST advise I'd ever heard in my life.
A bi-racial teen-ager was talking about her identity struggles and he told her to just identify with being one race and forget about the other. The girl looked at him like he was crazy and told him quite calmly that she had NO intention of following such a bad idea.
Needless to say, I never watched again.

Yoire ad was way too long. I didn't bother listening agree half way through that.

Dr Phil exploited individuals at the lowest point in their lives just to feed his narcissistic ego. I couldn't watch, he left a bad taste in my mouth!

I first lost respect for Dr Phil when he appeared on Joe Rogan's show and believing the absolutely insane lie about kids dressed as furries with litter boxes in the school room for them to use right in front of the class. Next was having Joel Olsteen and Bishop TD Jakes on the show. The final straw was when he had his "good friend" Ben Shapiro on the show spewing lies and conspiracy theories. When DP always claimed he wasn't political then sat next to these 4 despicable scamming grifters on his stage, I lost ALL respect for him.

Jeremy Kyle had one suicide and got pulled by ITV but Love Island had two suicides and is still on ITV. It has nothing to do with the threat of being sued at all. It was about ratings and Jeremy Kyle ratings was falling. Stanley Kubricks daughter has a bloody cheek to complain about Dr Phil. Afer what her dad did to Shelley Duvall on the set of The Shining. He mental and physically abused Shelley Duvall during the filming of it. Some people say that this was the start of her problems with mental health issues.

This makes the Bumfight guy a saint in comparison!
