what is the L-bracket you have in the thumbnail? I'm looking for a very compact, L-bracket + vmount battery solution while avoiding rails and anything sticking out too far. (I have an fx3)
ОтветитьLove your channel. Great content. Thanks for the time. You turning me onto Smallrig has made me poorer. Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat work man!!!!!! VALUE ADDED!!!!
ОтветитьOr how to turn your house in a garage..
ОтветитьYour link for the gear you're selling is not working.
ОтветитьGreat Thanks
ОтветитьIs your Canon LUTS compatible with an EOS R?
ОтветитьIf I have the 24 - 70 f2.8 the 35mm f1.8 is a good buy? any difference here?
ОтветитьI just want to let you know that your content is amazing. Thank you for the knowledge.
ОтветитьI feel one Of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the ma rket is that we end up losing all we have, making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet. My biggest advice is to always seek the services of a professional just like I did when I ventured into it for the first time. Big thanks to Hilson Ferguson. I now make huge profits by weekly through her services while still learning to stand on my own.
ОтветитьI went with A7S3 vs A74
Ответитьthis is a dangerous video to watch, I didn't know I needed and wanted so many new things haha. Great recap!
Ответить3D printing FARM?!? That's cool!
Ответить5 Stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Rhett sent me...
ОтветитьI love movies
ОтветитьAs always excellent work - Thank You !!!!!
ОтветитьI bought FX30 + Sigma 18-50 and couldn't be happier
ОтветитьGreat video. Immensely informative. What is the rigging plate you use on top of the FX30 to attach the monitor? The plate that screws directly into the FX30? Thanks.
Ответитьi wish i could say that is a mic mod... but thats just goofy at best
ОтветитьSony fanboi
ОтветитьThank You for sharing your best finds. I've benefitted many times from your recommendations and gotten more use and value with the best available solutions.
Better stuff, better price , better results. You're on it !!
Caleb shoots indoors. Does anyone know if this teleprompter is bright enough to use outside? Thanks
ОтветитьAs a film maker you don’t need all this sht😂😂😂 you can make a great video by experimenting and even using a used intro camera and a laptop or a desktop what matters is the story and how you make your audience feel towards it.
ОтветитьLmao this dudes getting paid to recommend all of u guys a bunch of stuff you don't need... Use ur brains people... U don't need all this junk
ОтветитьAnother great video as always, Caleb, and once again your channel is costing me money :)
You're teleprompter as monitor video was a huge productivity boom for me, just as all my in-person presentations were becoming zoom meeting and webinars. I bought the Glide teleprompter you recommended and the A8 monitor right away. But my old eyes were struggling to read text on the A8, so I upgraded to the A11 which was the biggest monitor I could fit in that Teleprompter.
So when I saw this video with the bigger 16"ILOKNZI Teleprompter and the A12, I decided that my two years older eyes deserved the upgrade and jumped on them. The challenge is that I actually route one of the outputs of my Atem Mini Extreme to the prompter/monitor, so that I can use the switcher to send my camera output or my computer output to the teleprompter. So the computer (M1 Macbook) is sending a 1080P signal to the switcher which is sending a 1080P signal to the A1 monitor which is upscaling it to 4K, and unfortunately the upscale in that Lilliput monitor is not very good. So for now, I'm using an outboard scaler, while I look for a 14" monitor that fits in the ILOKNZI, has native 1080p, and supports the X-Axis image flip that the Teleprompter needs. It's not proving as easy to find as I had hoped.
Hello~ Can you tell us which NATO rail you using on your Sony fx30 on the top? I am trying to find a good top rail for fx3 and couldnt find one.
ОтветитьThanks Caleb! Love the gear videos you do. Question for you - are you aware of any magic arms that are relatively lightweight and that can be repositioned with one hand (i.e. that don't require you to twist a knob to lock and unlock it when repositioning)?
ОтветитьYou should do a best cinematic settings tutorial for the Sony A7iv!!!!
ОтветитьAn idea for inventing: do you think you could 3-d print a thing that’s like a professional outdoor slingshot but that holds a camera where the yoke part would be? So like you can shoot handheld but with the wrist part making it super stable and less fatiguing. Like basically a manfrotto pixi in stick mode but with more support strapped to your arm to help you out. Seemed like it would be a good item but not even sure if that would work. Anyway great videos as always
ОтветитьI'm trying to decided between: A74 vs. Limix S5 ii. Doing YT vids and will start doing independent filming.
ОтветитьGreat Video Caleb as Usual! I been watching your Channel I think from Close to the Beginning. 10 Years? You doing good bro!
Ответитьdude, gotta check out GVM 600w bicolor light, $1k on adorama and BnH. great value option over the aputure 600x
ОтветитьAnother great video, Caleb. I have a comment about choosing the FX30. I tried one to work alongside my full-frame Sony cameras and ended up yearning for new lenses to match the APS-C sensor. In the end, it was more economical to go for an FX3, albeit a more costly body. As a Sony shooter, I wonder if this is something you considered - as I assume you also have a full-frame (FE) mount lenses?
ОтветитьYup! Picked up my 2nd a74 body last year as well, they serve as B and C cam for a7s3 when I do weddings, and A cam whenever I'm filming hiking videos and taking photos, love this beast!
ОтветитьHi Caleb. Any suggestions on a great Tripod to be able to support Lilliput monitor and Teleprompter setup that you featured in this video. Thanks!
ОтветитьOff the chart awesomeness! Adding some of this gear for my 2023 list to buy😄
ОтветитьWhat is the v-mount you are using in the thumbnail photo? Trying to figure out how you got the battery to sit so close to the camera body.
ОтветитьHey great video, i have a question about de f22, How much do you tighten the screw on the plate? I have little issues some time, can you help me with that im not want to brake it
Ответитьsony rocks!
ОтветитьYesss. Please make videos about 3D printed film gear. I can't tell you how much money I've saved by buying a single 3D printer last year. Also, how incredibly customized gear can be for your particular needs.
Pro Tip: It's likely that your public library has a 3D printer that can print smaller (PLA-based) parts for you for less than a dollar. There are hundreds of thousands of free designs online.
As usual.. thumbs up Caleb!
ОтветитьGreat video! I've purchased two of your classes and learned more than I would have thought possible. I now have 3 of the Sirui anamorphic lenses and a new GH6. Have you considered a course just on the sirui anamorphic lenses and the GH5 and 6?
ОтветитьWow, really high quality video, great work! 🎉
ОтветитьIncredibly good video (as usual).
As a 3d printer enthusiast, I'd love to see if you have any recommandation on project doable for video shooting / video recording that are made with your Prusa.
Thanks for all your work/reviews. Have a good 2023 :)
Thank you!
ОтветитьThose flat ratchets are a serious life saver. I don't use mine often but when i do, it's the only tool that can get the job done.
