Unfortunately punching concertinas with the medkit out doesn't seem to work anymore, throwing axe melee seems to be the most efficient and even removes multiple strands at the same time

I have been playing hunt for about a year and a half and I had no idea about the whole group experience that goes to the experience trees thing it was only recently where I had a friend always using the sparks and after a few good games I was getting the different ammo and variants now I know why thanks man

I suck so much ass in hunt, mainly because I honest to god can't with randoms and nobody I know is currently playing

For tip #30, you can just hold the number of the inventory slot you want to assign things to, no need to have the inventory full. Want your knife at button 3? Select it and then hold 3, done

For the switching tools tipp: You don't need another item for that. Just press the button of a slot you want to change and then hold the button of the item you want to put into that slot. A short circle will appear and then you changed the slots for the items. This way you can also change the position of your main weapon to be the sub-weapon. The only restriction is, that you can only change into the slot's, that are meant for these items.

Not gunna lie, the last jokey tip you gave about healing at a supply point, i really didnt know that lmao

Regarding tip 30, I believe you can just press and hold the a number button and the two items will swap positions.

tip 8 is goated ive looked all over reddit for how to clear wire with out the heavy knife

Actual tip you can add mike the boss is most commonly near a supply point I’ve found in all my games it’s in close proximity to one

Not sure for PC, But on console there is a hold-to-interact option for everything nearby that you can get a prompt for, I almost always bring dauntless unless im doing specific builds as that setting consistently saves my ass even with cooked bombs point blank, very reliable and i cant count the amount of saves these days

If you can get past the 20th straight loss and the fact that, at some point, all your hunters will be losers... it’s great 👍

Tip 24 is brutal .

Bought the game yesterday, downloaded it the night, morning first thing i jumped into it. Put me in a training game, found 2 clues and going for the boss, everything soo good, im liking the gameplay and atmosphere, xame to the boss house, everything became too scary. Got into the house, 5 seconds later im out, paused the game, closed it, delelted it, and refunded it. Too scary for me

1k+ hours in game, and I learned so many things, it is really insane how deep this game..

Frag bombs dont count as explosives because in real life frag granades dont do explosive damage but with small shrapnell

Beware new players that concertina wire can no longer be broken with melee while the medkit is equipped (tip #08).

1. Concertina wire can be broken with “slash” attacks. So while the light melee swing of a knife can break the wire, the heavy swing cannot since it’s closer to a stabbing motion. This carries over to bayonets as well, with the Martini riposte being different since it’s light melee swing is a slash motion.

2. Different slash attacks clear wire with varying efficiency. So while a melee swing from the heavy knife or a combat axe clears wire very quickly, the melee slash from throwing knives and regular knife will clear wire very slowly.

3. Long ammo can now break wire, but only a small chunk per bullet.

4. If you love the brass knuckles and the knuckle knife which have no slash attacks for breaking wire, consider bringing throwing knives. While the melee is very inefficient for breaking wire, throwing the knife at wire will break a chunk of it like long ammo. You can pick back up the throwing knife off the floor and repeat until the wire is gone.

*I wanted to mention this since it’s still a relatively new change, in that time we’ve gotten new players likely discovering this more recently, and the pinned comment doesn’t mention this.

When you want to toss an explosive, don't light it and toss it immediately, wait and listen to where your enemy is running, then you toss.
I learned by watching Mike playing in his videos. I killed an entire team last night, it worked three times in a row.

Omg if i only knew about the downed & banish tip, damn it.
I played with my brother, we attacked the Assassin and he was already low from a bad fight with an immolator. (Hes really new to the game)
And he died once to the Assassin leaving him at 1 bar of health, we got attacked by 2 players, i killed them, then i managed to ress my brother. But the players must have thrown a poison fly bomb or something, because he got attacked by flies and died and i could not ress him at that point. He died permanently.
If i knew this tho i'd just kill Assassin myself and then banish, then ress.

So much to learn in this game.

I can't get rid of the barbed wire anymore with knuckles, tools, weapons etc. was there a patch, that you need something special to remove it?

I dont really agree with 14 or 15 cause if youre not burning to deny res or to force their team into acting on your terms than burning corpses is kinda scummy

And I got another question. So I was playin a regular mode solo game, spent 30 minutes to get to the only boss on the map as silent as possible and other 30 mins waiting for hunters to come kill the boss. I was pretty sure they are comin or hidin around the boss just like me, but noone showed up and I lost my hunter like an idiot.
But at the very end, the game gave me a hint, that if the boss icon sparkles white, that means there is no enemies around. I read that and in 2 mins the was over. But the boss was already active, that means they came to him, but didn’t kill him and just left.

Did you know about this sparkling white boss icon? Without entering the building.

I only burn out bodies if the entire team is down, or they tried burning us first. It's like interrupting a 1v1 in Mordhau, it's just against the rules.
