Iv always only put a tiny bit foundation, for the exact reason, you talk about, I concentrate on concealer, with dark circles, and corners of my nose, I’m quite lucky as I have good skin, as always taken makeup off in evening , thank you, great video 🥰

People always compliment how amazing my skin looks. Honestly? I learned a handful of techniques from your older videos many years ago and it changed the game for me.

So basically the takeaway is to taper down on your foundation because less is more. Makes sense.

I always do as you say because I don’t want to look older and you’re absolutely right -a lot of foundation makes you look older. However, I end up adding more foundation to cover my age spots and sun spots, which I hate. Any tips for this?

whenever i only use some corrector and a sheer foundation on top, my friends tell me i look prettier than usual or how my skin just glows. makeup is kind of like botox or a nose job. if it is done well, everyone thinks god made you that way😂

Yes!! I’ve been wearing full coverage foundation with a baked face pretty much my whole adult life. Now I’m in my 30’s and it’s just not working anymore. I want to see my skin.. so I’ve started using very little tinted moisturizer, a dot or two of concealer where I need it, and cream blush. I look YEARS younger. I’ve started really taking care of the base, my skin. It’s done wonders. I’ll never go back to a full face again. Thanks for doing this Wayne. We need to normalize REAL skin again!

This is such good advice. I would really struggle to use a whole pump of foundation and I have a BIG face 😂. Also if you have oily skin like mine and use too much foundation it will be slipping around your face by lunchtime. I just concentrate on the central part of my face where I have redness around my nose and chin and the T zone.

Foundation was always my #1 product because I had acne. My most fervent wish was peaches & cream skin. By the time I got rid of the acne I was in my 40’s and foundation was jaut making me look old so I quit wearing it. I quit wearing makeup altogether during the pandemic and at age 64 I don’t know if I’ll ever wear makeup again. It’s very time consuming and I don’t want to make the effort anymore. My NP in her 40’s also quit wearing makeup during the pandemic & hasn’t gone back to wearing it again.

I simply can't wrap my head around how much product These Younger People are using every day. It's just too much much too much too too much. Too. Much. I did my Young Lady Years in the era of Linda, Christy, Cindy, Naomi. I still idolize Christy Turlington and she focuses on having beautiful skin. Who am I to argue with THE supermodel to end all supermodels...and you?

At last! This is what I was taught when I did my beauty therapy course in the 80s....We learned how to make the most of a clients skin and features, not paint their faces off! I hate the way make up looks have gone, everyone looking like clones, caked in slap without any individuality.

One thing you never mention and as you age, I’m a fab 69, you NEED are eye drops to make your actual eye whiter. I do this, I use retinA and a Clarisonic and daily friends ask what do I do to look so young. I also get Botox ONLY at the side of each eye (it miraculously lifts the eyebrow), and use your tutorials… sorry to say I’m not telling anyone but you!

I am so sick of seeing videos that use at least 5 products, one on top of the other, just to cover the skin, and then all the colour that needs to go over top of that to make the person not look like death. In 25 easy steps you can have flawless skin every day! It’s laughable how complicated it’s gotten!👍😁
