When I tried to restore an image it said I had to start over by booting from the Repair Disk (CDROM), since the image would overwrite on the disk where the current repair environment (blue screens) was stored, which makes sense. It all worked perfect.

While baking up the data, in the setting the , in the overview my size back up is showing 0 even after choosing many files. and my back up is also not getting done.

I despise one drive

I'm trying to do a system restore to a restore point from a while back. Then I want to grab some files, upload them, and then undo the system restore and re-download the files back onto my PC. Is this possible???

Can I use this process to backup just my program files folder, documents folder and not windows itself as I am building a new computer with a new version of windows on it adn simply transfer them over to the new computer. Hope that makes sense since I'm tired and its late where I am.
