Thanks for the cliff notes version of upgrading our LinkedIn profiles. @jeffsu You mention noting years of experience, but isn't that an issue if you have 28 years of experience? I've heard mixed messages on how to highlight overall years of experience. I'm curious what you have to say on this, as I think this is a complex issue.
Ответитьnvm good advice

ОтветитьJeff, thank you. I have a question what if I want to find a job in another field in which I don’t have any experience. How rebuild your resume to make it notable to a new sphere? What about headline and etc.
ОтветитьGreat Video thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьThis is really a very insightful video jeff. I think I got here on time. Thank you for putting so much effort.
Ответитьthanks man
ОтветитьI’m so thankful I found you Jeff!! Been binging all of your videos - talk about quality!! Clear concise to the point and easy to digest - very unique advice rather than the same fluff of repetitive information others in this area provide . You’re the BEST thank YOUUUUUU!! New subscriber + follower ❤️
ОтветитьHello Jeff, thanks for your help! I have a question about the Hemmingway tool. Every time I try to fill in the summary template, the tool marks the sentences hard to read. Are yours passing muster? Do you have any guidance for making easy-to-read sentences that follow the template?
Ответитьhelpful li'l elf.. ..Great points..Thank you!
ОтветитьUhm, but you can search for the formatted unicode characters, can you? And they probably won't be indexed by LinkedIn.
ОтветитьThat HAVE A GREAT ONE is a really great ending :)
ОтветитьGreat video and content! I need to ask the question I haven’t seen anywhere else in the comments though. Where is the link to the blazer you’re wearing???
ОтветитьI honestly feel like linkedin is one of the most trash tools ever when it comes to searching for a job. especially if you don't have a lot of experience.
ОтветитьThe entire time watching this I was like Damn this is a good video lol. Great Job!
ОтветитьWhat if I havent accomplished anything and looking for a break? I am a student with no professional experience, average grades, a couple good projects, eager to transform myself into the best version of myself.
ОтветитьYour videos are great Jeff, congrats!!
ОтветитьHi Jeff,
I am new to your channel and love your content! I have a couple of questions about some of these tips. Do you happen to offer any one-on-one zoom meetings or an email to reach out to you?
Keep up the fantastic work!
You sir are an amazing speaker. Liked and Subscribed.
ОтветитьHi Jeff! I wanted to ask an expert like you for an advise: what would you suggest to write in the LinkdedIn summary of a person like me that is unemployed at the moment and hasn't relevant working experience in his desired field(s)? brief background about me: I graduated at university with a major in foreign languages and linguistics with the dream of working as translator, but, unfortunately, my university in Pisa(Italy) didn't give me the opportunity of doing internships, so I was cut off this field. I have been learning web design and social media marketing by my own for almost 2 years but my skills are not enough to work in these fields. I started to find jobs outside these ones, but I only could work as junior sales manager and as lost and found clerk at the local airport. if I liked my job at the airport , the sales related one wasn't for me. I'm introvert and I didn't feel at ease going to client's houses and showcase our products with the aim of selling them. Thank you for you time and have a nice day!
ОтветитьHow do you phrase your impact metric as a software engineer? I am not in sales like you, so I can't quote profit bumps.
ОтветитьI hate u man, it's bcoz of quality people like you in the market, millions are jobless, including me.
ОтветитьJeff this video was amazing. Thanks for creating this and teaching us on how to write a best linked in summary
ОтветитьTop notch! I’m grateful to my friend who asked me to watch your videos. I’ve not even started on my LinkedIn profile/Resume yet but I feel very confident that your tips will make a difference in my job search. Thank you!
ОтветитьI love your videos! They are all very informative!
May I ask, what would you recommend doing if you've only been at your current job for a matter of months and are looking to find a new one?
I'm struggling to write my bio based on my current position when the time served is so short. Is it possible to write a bio based solely on the combined experience from a number of jobs?
Alternatively, would it look disjointed if I were to make mention of my current position but then touch on experience from previous jobs?
Any answer would be extremely helpful!
Thank you,
K
i did this and all they wanted was EXPERIENCE lol
ОтветитьFull of Jams, thanks Jeff 🔥
ОтветитьU speak very fast. Sometimes it becomes very hard to follow the content.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьHi Jeff, love your stuff!
I have a bit of a difficult one, How can i apply for 3 different jobs, using one profile? E.g. I want to apply for Personal Assistant, Marketing Assistant roles and Project Administrator roles.
Well-done video Jeff! I'm a job seeker looking to improve my attractiveness to employers on LinkedIn. I look forward to checking out more of your content
ОтветитьJesus Christ, I thought I was going to just put a sentence or two.
