Ronin by far was my favorite episode, both in terms of art style, story, action, everything, I bought the novel because of how good it was.

It's not like this format is novel, Matrix had Animatrix, Batman had Gotham Knight... etc.

Meh visions was trash

One thing i really loved about that first episode is the fact that both of the sith are very aggressive with their lightsaber technique wheras jedi are typically much more controlled and defensive in their fighting styles. Little details like that made that first episode so much more immersive.

Hey, Scamboli, what do you think about the new Visions season 2? Personally, I think a lot of them were visual treats, but story-wise, there might've been only a couple good episodes, and it feels like they took a hard turn into baby town for the others. And there was something... off... about the "Bandits of Golak" episode that I couldn't quite nail down.

The only reason why I'm not condemning SW Visions is simply becuase none of it even tries to be part of the big family. It's just a bunch of visionary self contained star Wars themed mini Stories. And for what it's worth, its fun.

A little corny

visually, they were all very good. story, i found most of them to be lacking.

episode three was a cool looking, but it was stupid. how were they fighting in the vacuum of space without any suits? and the dialog was terrible.

and i get that star wars was inspired by Japanese samurai stories and what not. but half the episodes has such heavy Japanese styles, you could have mistaken them to be taking place on a future dystopian earth, and not a galaxy far far away.

i have not seen the new season yet. so no opinions there. they should definitly keep making these. even if i don't think all of them are really good, they are all still interesting. and i always think it's fun to see different animators have a go at an IP. like the animaxtix episodes. i heard they might be making another series of animatrix episodes.

Your R2 scream was at the very least a 9, and considering how hard it is to perform such a screen, a 9 is enough to win the Internet.
A further way to win an additional Internet would be to a video about the studio that makes that UGLY, ATROCIOUS animation that you occasionally see show up in various 1-off series, like Samurai7 (ep 7 specifically), Fooly Cooly and Samurai Champloo.

Honestly, I thought the first episode was so good it was basically downhill from there.

Fun fact, the Samurai episode where he goes around killing Sith actually has a whole book about it called "Ronin". Great read, highly recommend it
