I love the idea of some suit and fedora-wearing 40's stereotype following the protagonist everywhere he goes just to have polite, yet indignant reactions to every stuck out of time moment he has. Like the time traveler gets drafted and ends up in Normandy, yet the indignant guy is still following him around in that suit and fedora.

The funniest part is, it's NOTHING like Sliders
