Bath & Body Works New Platinum First Impression!

Someone on Reddit said it smelled like grape or grape juice and patchouli…now that’s all I smell.

Hello Bonnie! do you or anyone else know if it will for sure have a three wick or just a single wick ? thank you =)

Usually I am on the same page as Bonnie as far as body care, unfortunately we are not with Platinum. The most honest comment I have gotten about this fragrance is, “It smells like an old woman wearing bad perfume hasn’t bathed recently and smells sort of musky.” 😄 Now my thoughts were not quite that harsh, but I don’t enjoy the fragrance. The funny thing is, I can almost guarantee I know someone who will enjoy this scent. I guess what I would say, it’s not something I’d blind buy if I could avoid it. The perfume and the FFM differ slightly (those are the two forms I have). The patchouli is definitely there on my skin, I’m not saying it’s super strong, but you can absolutely smell it and on me it gets stronger as it dries down. Hopefully it smells better on other people than it did on me; my body chemistry has never done well with patchouli to be honest.

I dont know what they did here but the tester smelled like black pepper in a perfumed container😢 for real no jokes.

Hi Bonnie I got it yesterday and I love it.

Sooooo, my initial reaction to wearing it was that I really liked it. But then....as it wore on, I got the old lady vibe. It reminded me of Debbie Gibson's Electric Youth at first smell. I could smell a grape scent. The dry down was just awful in my opinion. I washed my hands 3 times, and I could still smell it hours later. I got the travel size body cream-used a freebie coupon.

Is the patchouli note strong? Love patchouli!

I wander if it's a hand soap coming out I can't wait ❤

Hi Bonnie! I really like Platinum. It definitely smells like a combination of some scents that we've had before but I like it.

Platinum is too much like dream bright luminous you're the one with those heavy musk undertones hoping we can get a light sweet scent similar to frost snow blossom or rose champagne. Platinum is too heavy on patchouli not enough bergamot I'll pass on this one

Platinum mist & mini perfume EDP is similar to vanilla Romance then the dry down is superrr light. The body cream smells like Chasing Fireflies!

I don't like the mist or perfume but I like the cream since it smells like Chasing Fireflies to me Iet my daughter smell them side by side and she couldn't tell the difference 😊

i think pretty in pink will be the holiday scent! im skipping platinum and waiting on pretty

❤❤❤Thanks for the video, I had ordered the platinum mini spray and mini body cream for BOPIS. I used my reward and mini body care reward on them and just added a sanitizer for them to qualify for pickup. I love the scent its more mature but not "old lady" smelling like some ppl claim at least for my body chemistry 😊😅 The longevity of the mini perfume spray for platinum was really light on me on its own compared to chasing fireflies for instance. I just picked up the mini FFM mist today and purchased with a coupon. Once layered with all 3 items it was stronger on my skin. 😊

I'm returning the mini fragrances bc I don't love the dry down. It smells kinda good at first but then it goes downhill. Smelled kinda "old" like, a smoky peppery staleness. Something about it I dont like and I can't put my finger on it. I keep smelling the dress I sprayed and I'm like uh uh.. Is it Givenchy?🤔

"Silvery" is a perfect description. Vanilla Romance fans will love this. I got the whole line except the perfume.

Packaging is a knockoff version of Beyonce's Ce Noir. I get either Vanilla Romance or Valentino's Born in Roma on my skin, so at this point it comes across as generic as there are so many dupes of those scents. Platinum is a BIG SKIP 🤍🩶😑

Platinum is so nice but i can swear ive smelled it before but im not mad at it. Im buying more for sure, diamond shimmer mist was great!

Took the plunge and bought a few things in Platinum… I did two orders First order I had a free hand cream so I got that in it, then I used my free reward for another candle lol. Unrelated. 😂 I took advantage of the buy 3 get 1 sale for the sprays. Got a body wash for $4.95 then I used the $10 off $30 coupon. If anything I’ll keep one spray for myself and gift the rest for Christmas for the Platinum stuff.
