How would the KZ ZAR sound against the Shure SE215? I dont know which to get 😢 currently using KZ ZS10 Pro
Ответитьwhat do i plug this into?
Ответитьwhich one has the best noice cancelling?
ОтветитьYou didn't discuss noise cancellation. I also want to know how they will protect my ears from the loudness of the gig.
ОтветитьAll these months later what is your long term opinion of the KZ ZAR?
ОтветитьI think KZ ZSN PRO X is better than DQS
ОтветитьLOVE IT
ОтветитьI guess you forgot simgot EW200 in your list😊
ОтветитьAre the KZ DQS suitable for a druming inears monitors? Awesome videos Dude! :D
ОтветитьCca pla 13 and Truthear x Crinacle-Zero red
Which one better and pls suggest with DAC
Pls help
The Kz S10's can be found on eBay new for 19 dollars.
ОтветитьBro, try KBear KS2.👍
Ответитьwhat budget IEM would you recommend for gaming
ОтветитьI have old KZ ZST-X for years, and I love it so much.
Any idea which KZ should I pick for upgrade?
One question are this good for gaming, if so in what way? Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьWhat would you recommend for DJ’s?
ОтветитьI really enjoyed watching this very educational video, many thanks! I'm an advanced age mainly electric guitar player on my worship team and using CCA 10's. They are a big step up from the Shure SE215's I was using, but I'm still not very happy with the tonality of my guitar using the CCA's. I also sing backup, so I have pretty much the whole Aviom mix in my ears and need to hear the vocals clearly. I'm leaning toward getting the KZ AS 10 or ZAR, possibly the AS 16 Pro. Which of these might you recommend for my situation, or do you have any alternate ideas? Seems like KZ has new models every week, hard to keep up. Thanks 🙂
ОтветитьI really Love Blon -03 sound, I never liked Harsh Piercing Treble ,
what would you recommend? I am looking for something similar to Blon-03 Sound signature
Thanks for the video! There are a couple other sets I always recommend to folks. For $20 sets I recommend the CCA CRA and Moondrop CHU. I also like to recommend the Truthear x Crinicle Zero sets as well in the $50 range. Thanks again for all your content helping to bring awareness of products and tech in worship.
ОтветитьLate getting to the show, but I wanted to make sure I heard you right. I play bass at our church and I use the KZ AS10's. I am looking for another set of IEM's. I like KZ and would like to stick with them, KZ ZAR would give me a little better low end than the AS10's? Thanks for the video BTW, much appreciated
ОтветитьWhere do you find the DQS without a built in microphone?
ОтветитьI have to say I’m surprised that you have 3 sets by KZ in your top 5. With options from Moondrop, Tangzu, Truthear, Tin Hifi, QKz, Blon, Kiwi Ears, and so many more, I think you need to expand your listening.
ОтветитьCut the straw,…say wit…can you elaborate that?!
ОтветитьI use the moondrop aria and are great. Sound is really clear and high quality. I have tried kz as10 and for me the moondrop aria are a lot better
ОтветитьYou are so wrong for the 189 USD... That is not budget and the competition in that price range is huge... Shuoer S12, Tangzu Heyday, IKKO OH10 are just a few to name.
ОтветитьWhen a supposed "budget" IEM recommendations consists of mostly KZ products, you know not to follow it
ОтветитьKZ DQS and KZ AS10, really?!
KZ ZS10 Pro X THE BEST ONE
Amazon lists the DQS as a semi-open design. Does that affect its isolation? Can you provide any comment on the isolation/noise-reduction of all of these?
ОтветитьI feel like every decent pair of IEMs needs the cinch bead as well as the memory wire in the ear hooks, I don't understand why they leave those things out, it's such a cheap addition but it elevates the IEMs SOOOOO much
ОтветитьCrinacle: cries
ОтветитьI've used Westone and KZ universals and it help give me direction of what I wanted in IEM's. That's when I jumped to Alclairs Tours 3 driver CIEM's, and enjoyed those for almost 5 years. My current CIEM's are 64 Audio A12t's... sound and fit great... but the headroom on my A12t's are unmatched. On stage, my Alclair Tours 3 driver gets the job done... after going customs, it's hard for me to go back to universal IEM's.
ОтветитьHello Jimmy. Thanks for the great vid! What tips do most of these have (foam or rubber)? Most of our team uses the old tried and true KZ ZSTs but we switch out the stock rubber tips for foam to get a better seal. Wondering if using foam tips on all of these might have “leveled the playing field” a bit more and affected your assessments. Thanks again and take care.
ОтветитьI have hearing loss and have hearing aids. I use my tv box that connects to my hearing aids via Bluetooth that I connect to my monitor feed from the mixer great sound. If there is increased noise on the stage I use Phenyx Pro with the KTZ-AS10 both due to Jimmy’s reviews. Great sound isolation
ОтветитьRandom question, but what vertical lights are you using on the back wall? They look great.
ОтветитьJust got my KZ DQS’s I’ve been using them nonstop, thank you Jimmy also for the recommendation and video! 😁
ОтветитьI commented about the Pelican 1010 Micro Case and then I saw you have the link. I have two because they are roomy and great protection. I even replaced the knockoff case I got with my custom molds for that.
ОтветитьCheck out Juicy Earz
ОтветитьI've been using the CCA C10s off Amazing for about 2 years now, but I definitely need to change. They can't handle low frequency sounds very good. Probably gonna try those DQs you've mentioned.
ОтветитьWhen my church switched over to in-ears, we bought a bunch of the $100 Shure sets, and we all hated them. I started buying budget in-ears like these and recommending them to everyone on the team. I have used the KZ ZS10 Pro's on stage every week for several years now. I just recently broke them, though, and switched to the KZ ZSTx. I have also used the TRN-V80 at home for a while now. These cheaper in-ears with multiple drivers just sound so much better than the single-driver Shures, and seem to last longer, too...
Thanks for doing this wrap-up - I can send this link to new band members when they are ready for their own sets.
I trust you are right about the cheaper ones. I just order the last 5 from Amazon.
Thank you for your content. It’s a blessing. Keep it up.
I've had the KZ AS10 for over a year, but I like them so much that I've only used them as headphones (bought the bluetooth adapter). I can't bring myself to take them out of my room.... Maybe I'll get the DQS? Thank you Sir!
ОтветитьI have my own custom Alclairs but I like to provide something for the team members. I had been going with the KZ-AS10s but love your recommendation for the Dairy Queens ;-) Picked up a few for the future using your links! Thanks Jimmy.
ОтветитьI've been using the old Shure SE215's since....forever. I tried some $100 Westones that got stepped on before that. I find that as a bass player (mostly) what makes the biggest difference is using as long a foamy tip as I can find so it gets down in my ear. The little rubber things just never do it for me. I recently got the 3 driver Drumeo ear buds. Not sure who makes them but they look very similar to some of these and the case is identical to the 2nd pair. Unfortunately they take a different size foam ear piece and I can't find one long enough to really work. I usually end up back with the Shures eventually.
ОтветитьFor 20 bucks with a flat eq curve the 7HZ Salnotes Zero are pretty good. I've used 2 KZ sets and they are too shouty in the higher frequencies. I have 2 different sets I'm trying now and the Salnotes Zero are great for 20 bucks.. And if you can get over the horrible packaging I just got Truthear Zero which have better separation but are 2x the cost.
ОтветитьAwesome! I have tried a few of these, they are all really good!
