Imagine that your entire existence is defined by your relationship to another person. Then imagine there's an infinite universe out there where all universes are defined by that relationship.

No matter where you go, no matter what you do, you will always be the sidekick. You are trapped, forever, in an endless loop where you are the fall guy, the punching bag, and the butt of all jokes.

Then imagine there's a world out there that's never even heard of Rick Sanchez.

How far would you go in order to reach that world? What would you sacrifice? What lines would you cross?

I'm not saying what Evil Morty did was right.

I'm just saying I understand.

Shame we'll never get to see what lays beyond the curve sence the show writers likes punishing the fans for getting invested in their show.

Makes you wonder where evil morty went off to.

I’ve seen some comments about how this Morty is probably going to die horribly, but I have to say that that’s not the point. Evil Morty’s whole deal was trying to get away from Rick, it doesn’t matter how or when he dies now, because he’s finally free from Rick and that’s all that matters to him

And then the writers ruined it all with the dinosaur episode.

The climax point for me. ❤

The fact that he’s a villain because his motivation is to run away from his abuser is incredibly good writing.

I wonder if there is a universe where Jessica is the smartest woman who is competing with Rick to be the smartest human.

Evil Morty isn't evil. He was just pushed. But i guess thats called a villain arc

This ending to the Evil Morty arc is beyond perfection.

That deep breathe and sigh Evil Morty does when he reaches outside the curve is him basically saying "Finally I'm free to live my own life and find my own purpose."

Curious to see if he'll return. Or if he'll meet prime rick.

Where will he go now? I guess wherever he wants.

I feel few can Grasp 👊 what happened here and what this all means. As it seems ineffable to put into words..

i didn't enjoy season 5 very much.... but it was so fucking worth it all for this final episode

I would have crossed the curve with evil Morty even if the seat was a toilet

if they don't make a spinoff series, even just a one-season thing, of evil morty becoming the "rick" of his own rick-less universe, that is just a missed opportunity

I love the writing because you could literally sympathize with Evil Morty, he just wanted to get away from Rick and his morbid self loving ass

So basically Evil Morty turned into Eren Yeager in the extreme of wanting his freedom, was willing to commit atrocities to see it through. Nice.

I’m still not a huge fan of modern R&M, but at least they retconned the fact that Rick is the ‘smartest being in the universe’.

One thing i always wondered is how this Morty, who is clearly outsmarting every Rick is in one of these universes in the first place.

This scene is a masterpiece. Unfortunately, it’s extremely difficult to convince anyone without giving them the entire context, which is not so easy to summarize and keep the same emotional impact.

One of the stupidest wastes of a storyline ever. They literally took a diamond and turned it back to coal to power evil morty's ride into oblivion i guess. Hope the writers are relieved they don't have to do any more cool episodes and can focus on Naruto the incest baby for every episode 😒

I wish I could escape like that

This version sounds very different then any of the other ones

Evil Morty: Becomes president to gain the power of the citadel solely to destroy it nearly and kill off hundreds to thousands of two of the same people all to destroy the finite curve that they had created

Dinosaurs: Haha I just fixed your curve in one second
