i found a little hole in the wall church in the center of town. All of three Latino families, 2 African college students and a few 60's married white couples. They discuss the Words of God in the Bible and we ask questions, we accept confusion and anger, and sadness. We share joy, laughter, we grow and are more like one family than 6 different ones. We visit each other during the week and have barbecues, sometimes take all the kids down to the splash pad, share each others financial burdens, spiritual struggles, emotional damage. Yes, I looked for a place like this my whole life. It probably will stay small because many people are looking for a great program. All we have is humble, hard working, down to earth people. Dax would feel right at home here.
