You need up to 6 hours for battery to charge but usually its not more then an hour. If it still shows degraded after 6 hours then rest ILO from Diagnostics tab first to make sure its not ILO that show outdated info. If its degraded then consider to update BIOS to latest. Solved multiple cases like that, but same time there were cases where BIOS update also did not help so you need to look for ADU report Slot X log for more details and most likely your battery is DOA and you need a new one. Peace.

Today i had to replace this battery on a customer server. and i watched this video before that. And it helped me to change the battery with no problem! The customer was impressed by the proffesionality! Thx to this video! Big thanks to the HPE Crew! Pls upload more videos, if drastic changes occur.

A useful video! I was able to recce the location and installation before deracking a few servers which were badly installed (no slack on any of the cables so I can't pull them out on their rails), thanks for publishing it.
