*pauses in bioshock music
ОтветитьGreat use of the background music from Bioshock 2. [Chef's kiss]
ОтветитьWoah
ОтветитьWhen you say allergies are helpful i think of the smart worms from Futurama
Ответитьevery time an angler fish is being brought up or deep see fishes. i HAVE to look away. those creatures down there scares me soo bad. it's horrible. and i'm glad you to say they are horrible to look at. I might be easy to scare with those. but they truly scare me. not even a small picture can i defeat. i give credit to those who can look at them and even more to those who see them real life...if it is possible. i dunno. and...i don't really care. Besides all my cry baby talk. Great videos Roano. Send greetings to miss Kitty.
ОтветитьDid this malad say "roa no thanks". I'm dead
ОтветитьI love your videos they make me very happy and I love learning new things
Ответитьyour pronunciation of these names is straight out of a Key and Peele skit
ОтветитьVirus, plasma, and strands, can survive vacuum.
Ответить96 degrees ud be boiling.
36.6 is human temperature.
Jellyfish are Eldritch Horrors and people need to wake up, you think its a coincidence that the only thing in the ocean that doesn't want to kill us is the mammals?! They're all corrupted! Purge the Sea!
ОтветитьAmericans: " x feet long"
Another american: D:
The rest of the world: ?
This man's science singlehandedly got me through biology class.
Ответитьwhy is it bad luck to bring a red head on board
ОтветитьThat 'not learning to swim' thing is more traditional than modern. Couple hundred years ago if you fell off and you weren't vitally important to the function of the ship (navigator, doctor, stuff like that), everyone would basically shrug and someone would take your stuff. It just wasn't worth the effort when they could replace you at the next port. Though this also only applied to larger scale stuff; in small fishing villages if someone said "Ah yeah, jimmy fell off so we let him get eaten" then their house would probably be burned down.
In modern times it is absolutely normal to learn to swim because while going back is annoying its better than a criminal charge.
Not to be that guy, but cool name Siobhan is pronounced Sha-VAughn
ОтветитьLoving the video - the pronunciation of Siobhan is killing me though 😂
For anyone who hasn't seen this name written down before, it's pronounced Shiv-awn ^-^
Dart suspension? Is that what he said? Does anyone know what he is talking about
Ответить>you can't just pick and choose your superstitions
yes you can. that's literally how it works lol
Not true bro, asthma and allergies etc are caused from being exposed to harmful chemical and metals in our food water and air supply. We're being poisoned messing up our natural bodies causing adaptions in the body that wasnt naturally there before. There was no obesity, asthma, allergies etc in say the 50s then there is now, bc the longer we're exposed to these harmful chemicals the more its damages the future generations.
ОтветитьThe irony is we cant explore the ocean that has extreme pressure that can destroy a craft, yet they tell us we've been to "space" which has more pressure but doesn't destroy a craft....🤔🤦♂️ and NASA destroyed the tech in the 90s that supposedly took us to "space" and years later they tell us they cant rebuild it smh. What type of genius govt makes a spacecraft to reach impossible destinations just to destroy the invention when they "get back" so they can never rebuild it again....make it makes sense, right? When you think about the narrative of our world that we've been told since birth starts to fall apart rapidly bc the lies they tell make 0 logical sense.
ОтветитьNah keep using Alpha and Sigma. Free speech baby 💪
ОтветитьYea we can't hear your neighbor cutting trees lol
ОтветитьWe've never been to space bro, its just all greenscreen Hollywood propaganda. Buzz Aldrin knows it, Warner Von Bron (the nazi who created nasa) knows it and Warner exposed his lie on his tombstone.
ОтветитьLove the BioShock music
ОтветитьDude... The Bioshock music. Now I want to play BioShock again!
ОтветитьI was a commercial diver 10 years ago.
Thank God I saw this video AFTER I left the field because if I saw it while still having to dive, I don't think I could do it anymore 😅
Great video, thank you 👍
I would absolutely die. I would eat the jello. It looks so delectable
ОтветитьI would have thrown her off the damn ship for breaking the ship
ОтветитьFor those wondering how someone could be cutting trees for a month, they likely order hole length logs on a transport trailer and cut them at home to save cash.
It's almost half the cost doing it that way.
This is why you should carry depth charges
ОтветитьTook me way too long to figure out he when he was saying "see oh ban" he was reading Siobhan without any knowledge its a Celtic name 🤣😂
ОтветитьThats funny cuz sailor for centuries used to say having a woman on board was bad luck, but of course they cant say that because "Muh vagina" and all the other feminist bs. lol So redhead I guess? lol shoulda waited
Ответитьcan you imagine, johnny going my balls hurt for some reason.. LMAO bruhh
ОтветитьThis movie was terrible lol. Zero climax and nearly all the characters had the goofiest and most pointless deaths
ОтветитьThe bioshock theme in the background ah the memories
Ответить1: I really enjoyed this movie and it kinda saddens me that it was shafted by Covid.
2: I have thalassophobia and I want to be a marine biologist so it does happen.
Now i want to see you play Subnautica.
ОтветитьAs someone who grew up playing Ecco I agree about jellyfish.
Ответить"You can't pick and choose your superstitions." Why? Will you be audited by the authority having jurisdiction? Will you be brought in to stand trial by the ministry of silly hats? Is there someone enforcing logical consistency on superstition in Ireland?
ОтветитьYo this was metal
ОтветитьHonestly enjoy when Roanoke mispronounces names. Sometimes I purposely mispronounce random words to see if people are paying attention. Good ice-breaker that could lead to small talk
ОтветитьSiobahn is pronounced "Shiv-on".
ОтветитьI gotta say this was a really EYE OPENING experience
ОтветитьEat a pound of dirt? Well ok, Lemme just get a ladle.
As for her, Irish names don’t seem to anglicize well. Hence I’ve always heard ‘Siobhan’ as like ‘Shevaun’.
‘Óró sé do bheatha Abhaile’ is pronounced something like ‘oh ro, shea dog bya-thuh bye-luh’, for instance. I’ve heard this is related to attempting to make the Gaelige language conform to a more English alphabet.
