Hi, i have a single phase motor connected with an inverter but it doesn't have a capacitor, if i need to disconect the motor from the inverter do i need to install a capacitor on the motor? Thanks.
ОтветитьThanks for this explanation, but can you clarify how to calculate the capacitor values for the exact motor?
ОтветитьAre you a South African? Like your accent
Ответитьthank you man. this is the video i was looking for
ОтветитьThank you for the diagram
ОтветитьFinally a clear video!! Well done on explaining it in basic terms
Wish I see this when I was at my unit
Understood. Your explanation is simple and straightforward. Like that
ОтветитьThank u so much.. great…
Ответитьsir, how will i remove the problem of fluctuation during starting? i noticed during starting the lights will fluctuate.
ОтветитьWow! Thanks!
ОтветитьSuper explanation
ОтветитьAs comnents below a small contribution... if I'm not mistaking z1-z2 and u1-u2 wireing Order might differ as it may change the rotation sense. Correct me if I'm wrong... that's what I've been looking to find out by watching the video as
ОтветитьY not strat
ОтветитьKept saying doesnt matter which way wires go surely would run backwards but could be wrong
ОтветитьI noticed the Green/Yellow wire coming in was not connected to ground inside the casing of motor, so it is not required?
ОтветитьThanks that was useful!
ОтветитьThank you very helpful
ОтветитьI tested one set of terminals and had 0.00 resistance. Would centrifugal switch be that low?
ОтветитьCan you show how to change rotation?, my motor only runs counterclockwise even switching the power wires
Thanks
The following is correct: (1) Running Winding + Starting Winding + Neutral (2) Running Winding+ Starting Coil +Running Coil +Phase (3) Starting Winding + Running Coil+ Centrifugal Clutch (4) Starting Coil + Centrifugal Clutch
Ответитьthank you for that sharing
ОтветитьNice content, clear and easy to understand
ОтветитьI tought 3 phase motors were the ones to have 6 terminals
ОтветитьThank you, exactly what I was looking for! 👋👌
Ответитьgreat article....
ОтветитьHow to identify the 6 wires from motor
• The left over 2 wires will be V
• You will find 2 closed loops in the remaining 4
• The higher ohm is Z
• Lower ohm is U
Four stage connection (plus earth)
1. Live wire to one side of starting coil, and one side of running coil. L+Z+U
2. Neutral wire to other side of running coil, and one tail from both capacitors…….N+U+Cap+Cap
3. Other wire from starting coil, and one wire from switch, and other tail from lower capacitor…..Z+V+LC
4. Other wire from switch, and other tail from higher capacitor…..V+HC.
5. Connect earth to body of motor.
Thanks for good information it's helpful for me
ОтветитьWould that diagram be the same if it were a 220v motor obviously replacing the neutral for a second 120v wire?
ОтветитьThanks for your sharing it with us. This is a great tutorial and very informative...
dl
Hi, this is very useful. My single phase motor wiring is not labelled. I think my running coil is connected to my starting coil and also my so called 'V1' is connected in series.
Any ideas how I go about wiring?
Ace thankyou
ОтветитьCan you make a video on how to replace a mechanical centrifugal starting switch to an electronic centrifugal starting switch. On this same type of motor.
Ответитьsir can i ask a question? in d winding connection wer is d one who connect is in the line d begging or the ending winding og the motor, both running and starting?
ОтветитьSir can u give me a thought about what can i use to drive a single phase asychronous motor without capacitor on it
ОтветитьBest explanation. Now how to contact on a panel
ОтветитьBest explanation. Now how to contact on a panel
ОтветитьThank you very much for your explanation
Ответитьthank you for this neat and clear practical connection and information
ОтветитьCool !!!
ОтветитьFabulous
Ответитьhow do you change direction on this motor?
ОтветитьVw break switch
ОтветитьThank you very much
ОтветитьHi Jean, dunno if I missed it in the video, is there a way to reverse the direction the motors running?
Ответитьvery helpful for a compressor motor I need to repair, thanks !
ОтветитьThis is Very clear and straight.
Sir please, what could be the cause of a single phase motor that suddenly dropped in speed
You can also change the direction of spin by reversing Z1 - Z2 OR reversing U1 - U2 terminals
ОтветитьVery clear explanation kundos
Ответитьthanks pro, clear explanation with diagram
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. just had to repair such a motor. this video was god sent . Hi 5 :)... however, how do you change rotation?
