Initial & Final Value Theorems in Z-Transform

Why cant we put t = 0 in x(t) to find initial value ?
And the Z transform is of the same function x(t) .

Final value theorum is incorrect its not (z-1) it should be (1-zinverse)

Please teach full concept.. in all functions we cannot applly thi theoram..
