When choosing a camper van the #1 thing is a recirculating shower. So I can take a long shower.

#2 the microwave has 2 be where I can reach it without a ladder. It is dangerous to pull out hot lequid out of a microwave that will spill down my arm or on my face. To many people think everyone is above 6 feet tall.
It is better to put a refrigerator on top and a microwave on the floor. I cannot get hurt pulling stuff out of a freezer.

#3 don't waste space by putting in sofa of chairs in the back. You already have a driver seat and passenger seat. U can put a table in-between the front chairs.

The space in the back you can put in a washer/dryer machine and closet.

#4 I want a motorcycle rack in the back .a bike rack can go in front of the engine.

#5 more batteries more solar panels. My test would be run the tv 24 hrs. Run a computer 23 hrs. Run refrigerator 24 hrs. Run the hot water for a 40 minute shower.

And be able to run a coffee maker and blinder.

The driver seat should be air suspension so I can drive van for 14 hours before having to stop to pee.

#7 The gasoline or diesel must not freeze in -50 degrees Fahrenheit.

#8 very important that no one can see you inside the van.

A good bathroom is most essential. A wet bathroom, toilet with cassette system accessible from outside, and plenty of water storage.

A nice bed that you can sleep on anywhere is nice, but not that essential unless you are living full van life, and even then queen size bed or such isn't really essential, considering how people manage to live in years in stuff like prius or corrolla.

Something I never see in this kind of vidoes but would like: a kitchen with rice cooker.

It would be nice if they came out with a more simpler class B. Make it more basic. A Colman stove, domestic fridge/freezer. Murphy bed style bed. Fold down shower pan with curtain, cassette toilet in a Cabinet. Open like a doors and flip up top. Gives you more counter top space. Swivel front and passenger seats with larger lagoon table. This will keep the price point down that way you can use the van got hauling cargo. Options solar, TV, air conditioner. They should be able to build a a basic Camper van for under $60,000

This is a project of engineering and design that should I be tasked with creating, my automotive and RV design staff would include US, Japanese, and German, minds. I know my team of talent would deliver the most desirable precision and design vehicle for the market and it would be the 1st in sales, reliability and customer reviews. It’s a old camper I believe from Italy.

For us, a comfortable bed that can accommodate two fairly large people, a really good air conditioner/heater, and a shower that is tall enough for a six foot tall person is key. Hopefully, the van would also be reliable and not a breakdown waiting to happen!

I'd like to see some type of clamps that hold bottom sheets for the beds stable.

WiFi and T.V.? I hope so. How else would you camp and survive?

We are looking for a 19’ RV with a DRY bath (separate shower and toilet). Not a fan of wet bath where you shower on top of the toilet. RV manufacturers, come up with a design which smartly separates the shower and keeping the toilet dry. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

By far the best camper van ever made is the VW Westfalia California Exclusive built from 1991 to 2003.
The only thing that comes close nowadays is the VW Club Joker, but not as well designed as the original is what both VW and Westfalia admit nowadays.
Once you own one, its almost impossible to part from it, the honesty of the vehicle coupled to the carlike handling, and the emotion of the 5 cylinder tdi engine, and the ability to park in every metropolis in the world, or in arctic conditions be warm and comfy, there is nothing like it, a very addictive van according to many owners.

Like to see Class B and Class B+. Like to see more wheelchair friendly, solo wheelchair friendly. Anything where no pulling, carrying, pushing, e.g. cassette toilet; bending, etc. Most handicap RVs assume able body is with a handicap person. Winnebago Roam isn't perfect but, like door less bathroom. Induction cooking is great...no flames.

I would love my next camper to have a permanent bedroom at the rear end and a close by full bathroom. The captain chairs would do perfectly well for two, eating and sitting. That would be exactly what we both desire. No need or desire to carry any passengers or accommodate any extra sleepers.

I don't like any of these, I like the open space, with the bathroom and shower in the back, not a oven or cook top, just an outlet for electric kettles and a microwave. I need to have a dinning set and table, and bedroom that I do not have to constantly change.
