UP Leads CN Hopper Train York Street Elmhurst Illinois

York Street in Elmhurst is where CN's Freeport Sub, in the west suburbs of Chicago, begins to have some curves and jogs in the track. From Cicero to Elmhurst, maybe six miles, the track is perfectly straight. When the tracks get to Elmhurst there are some decent jogs and the track is sort of like that until it gets out of the Chicago suburbs. Video shows the train on the last bit of straight trackage. Lead power was UP# 9077. The other engine was CN# 2308. There was a bit of MOW work at/near the York Street crossing and the train did some quiet toots as it chugged past. These tracks eventually go all the way across Iowa and this train might be heading to someplace in that State.
