Hi Bjorn, I just changed my permalink setting from <domain>/%category%/%postname%/ to <domain>/%postname%/ and I'm seeing a lot of folks getting page not found errors on my clicky stats. Is there a way I can put in a redirect to take the category hierarchy out of the URL they are trying to reach, but leave the <domain>/%postname%/ intact and redirect them?
BTW - I've been following you for years, and I'd like to support you, but I couldn't get your Koffee to accept a new payment method. How can I support you?

Thanks, I always appreciate you sharing. I have a question. I am creating pages and assigning the permalink. I keep getting a ( -2 ) assigned to the page after creating it. There are no other pages with this name or any other copies of this file anywhere. I have cleared all the cache in Wordpress and on my server and still I am unable to remove the ( -2) it keeps adding to the page. Do you know of something I may be missing to fix this.

Hi Bjorn, thank you for this. A question, I'm using your 17-point checklist and it says to use custom /%postname%/ rather than post name as you talk about in this video. Is there a difference? Is it important? I am just starting but have a few posts out there and my permalinks are set to post name.

What if you just have static pages (mostly) and don't do too many posts? In my main url page that has the main title of the site but the name of the page is different, will that make a difference in my search results? How do I beat my competitors who are using a search term but it's organic not a paid result? Thank you for the video and appreciate the insight. Max
