If you have already romanced karlach, she won't have that reaction to you becoming the slayer. When I did it, she said that she still loved the character. So long as I control the beast around her.

Kinda funny while adventuring when I have Jaheira and Minsc and Slayer form in front of them, they're cool with it. Jaheira even healing Slayer form if needed. Just dont murder spree with Minsc if dont want him leaving party, Jaheira will stay with you regardless up until a certain Temple Point... At least, that's my understanding so far.

This is such a huge insult to the original games. The Bhaalspawn story is over, all the bhaalspawn are canonically gone after BG2 Throne of Bhaal. There is nobody left that can do a Slayer transformation. Don't bother replying that "well WOTC said this" WOTC are retarded for letting this game happen at all. Did they do a fucking asspull and suddenly decide your character is a long lost Bhaalspawn hundreds of years after they were all banished?

With all apologies to Bhaal, personally I thought the Slayer Form he gives you kind of sucks. Maybe it was because I was already playing a melee class (Monk) who could dish out tons of damage, so the Slayer was actually a bit of a downgrade. But I could see if you played a support or caster class, having the ability to turn into a melee juggernaut might be kind of cool.

This is kinda total bs. Anyone who see bhaals chosen monster from should either attempt to kill you or just run away and leave you permanently.

You know there's a balancing issue when the chosen avatar of a GOD has less health than any lev 12 character with the tough feat

When romancing Astarion, his responce is a bit different. He's reaction is conflicted but on some level he approves but has some minor reservations.

the astarion part made me die "oh you're a vampire dude that's super cool! i guess i can share as well" transforms YOU BETTER KEEP THOSE CLAWS AWAY FROM ME like damn bro i thought we were sharing :(

During my playthrough gale was a lot more supportive. He still inplied my form was ugly tho 😢

Just kill everyone and use kinda op mods (but not too much) to feel truely like an evil monster

Found it cool you can turn into a slayer like you did in Baldur's Gate 2, but luckily you're not losing reputable points or sanity every time you use it in this game like you do in BG2.

when you have Minthara as companion, she is amazed by it and calls you beautiful or magnificent if I remember correctly. She's the only companion who fully encourages you to use the Slayer.
