Is working in tax more rewarding in terms of paid salary than in audit?🤔

Which field would be better for FP&A, audit or tax?

One of the most appealing part for me w/o oversimplifying is:
The ability to add more concrete value to the clients. eg. I am applying my knowledge & skills about the Tax laws to the Client's situation & showing the client that they're about to save x amt of ₹ if they follow our advice.
I believe that's something that the clients really see value in. The fact that there's a tangible no that they can grasp & that they actively seek to come to us to pay for such advice.

I worked 2 years in a pvt company (after qualifying CA)for accounts dept and hated it’ now shifting to TP in one of the big4 in entry level ! Have I wasted 2 years b4? Is is good tat I went at entry level!? Please guide!
