I’m itching to update my XS Max from ios 15.4.1 to 16.2 but I’m contemplating since I just bought my phone from an online iPhone store that sells 2nd hand ones and I don’t know if there are hidden issues on my phone. AND they don’t have a warranty for the ios updates. Do you think the seller knows that something might go wrong if I update my ios to the latest one? ‘cause I asked her if it’s okay to update and she said “no”

I also have some problems whenever I upload a pic on my fb and ig story and put a background music. The output ends up being distorted and completely low quality. But when I only upload the pic without putting a background music, it ends up fine. I’m wondering if it has something to do with not updating the ios. I hope someone can tend to my questions..
